OhioChessFan: <stone: But I must say, why are you so bent on harassing <Stonghenge>. Getting banned is a bit painful, I agree, but you go out of your way to carry a grudge, and gloat.>

Someone abusing their authority is really, really, really, really ugly.

Jul-13-22  nok: I propose a ban of user <MissScabett> for cyberstalking.

MissScarlett: He wanted me to call him out. I told you that neither he nor <Tab> can stay away.

User: Big Pawn has been a member since 2005, even longer than <stonehenge>, so his crisis of conscience on the downward spiral of the site seems somewhat affected.

fredthebear: Glad to see you made an appearance <Stonehenge>! I hope you're feeling well.

<This site allows trolls to vomit all over the place.> So true. Sounds like you're getting back to your old self.

Don't feel obligated to discuss recent events. What's done is done.

Rest easy!

I really appreciate the heads up. I thought I was on Kenny's page.

I will delete this if I remember.

Susan Freeman: Susan Freeman: May I remind you guys that this is not the proper place for banter and non sequiturs. Please go down the hall. Try the cafe and break the disco ball. or off to the Rogoff.

I had a great notion to delete all of the above, but then I remembered all those who have fragile egos and take it as a personal insult.

let us just stay focused here, please, because this forum is invaluable to management.

Susan Freeman: <nok> let me explain it to you again. Go to another forum. Please don’t imply anything else
Jul-14-22  George Wallace: <Susan>, do you see now how valuable the rogoff is, and, in particular, <Big Pawn> and <George Wallace>?

In case you don't know what I'm getting at - these are the GREATEST bug lights on the website, hands down. If <BP> and <GW> didn't act as lightning rods to these grumbles, they'd be here and all over the site every day trolling, complaining, spreading ill-will among the members, and trying undermine your website.

Did you notice that since they didn't get their way with censorship here, they've been on a campaign to badmouth the website? Yeah, that's how they are trying to cancel you.

In case you didn't notice.

You don't do what they want? Okay, then they will go around the website telling everyone how the site went downhill, how the <owner> isn't qualified to run the site, how everything sucks and so forth. That's <canceling> the owner and <CG>.

<Susan> has been BLM-ANTIFA canceled on <CG>!

Jul-14-22  Messiah: I completely agree with <Susan Freeman> - let's relocate this entire discussion to Magnus Carlsen.

OhioChessFan: I like the multiple live games, but I'd suggest a featured game each round that would be the default or first listed or something. The idea being to encourage more people of the people watching kibitzing on the same game page.

MissScarlett: Isn’t George Wallace vs the World entertainment enough?
Jul-14-22  thegoodanarchist: FYI to cg.com:

I was just listening to the Peter Leko/ Lawrence Trent commentary today, and heard Trent say he played recently in Corsica.

I noticed there are no games in his profile after 2020, and no Corscian tournament on the tournament page. This might be something to address, to keep the db up to date.

MissScarlett: Here are the recent tournaments added:

New Tournaments

When one appreciates just how many rated events there are (especially as things have largely returned to normal post-Covid), <tga>'s keeping up to date would be more akin to opening the floodgates. So I've no problem with <cg.com> continuing to be selective, but the choice of which events to upload seem fairly arbitrary. Does <stevemcd> alone decide this?

Check It Out: Hi <steve>, one odd thing at the live games is after I kibitz, my comment stays in the kibitz box (even when I switch games), and I have to delete it before posting again.
