 | | stevemcd87: <Chessmusings> I am able to download and view PGNs with Chrome but received an error when using Safari. I get the message below:
<"Safari can't open the page. The error is: "The operation couldn’t be completed. Protocol error" (NSPOSIXErrorDomain:100)>
I'm hoping resolving my issue will also resolve yours. I'll inform you when an update has been made so you can try again. Sorry for the inconvenience. |

| Sep-15-22 | | Messiah: I have a serious problem: in the previous several days I always got a '403 Forbidden', visiting any of CG's pages. It turned out that both of the VPN provider I am using and the TOR network are blocked to reach this site. As I live in an oppressive regime, I am practically never doing online activity without VPN or TOR. Hence, I would like to ask you to lift either of these restrictions, or pick a VPN server of your choice (from the logs you can deduce which provider I am using), and I will use exclusively that one to come here. If you choose this option, please inform me by e-mail, and I will cooperate happily. |

 | | Dionysius1: Ah great: someone has updated the "New Events" column on the home page. If it's always up to date, apologies, but I've just noticed how much fresh stuff there is in it at the moment. Thanks. |

 | | Teyss: Hello,
I have the same issue as <Messiah>: "403 Forbidden" when I connect with VPN and it's difficult to turn off. I didn't raise it before because it thought it would be solved after a while but it's not (a few days now).
Could you please fix or keep me updated on how to proceed? Thanks. |

 | | MissScarlett: <Ah great: someone has updated the "New Events" column on the home page. | | HeMateMe: on the 9LX tournament page why are there no moves shown? Can this somehow be remedied? |

 | | MissScarlett: Far be it from me to downgrade the Ilkley Chess Festival, but getting up the <Julius Baer Generation Cup> (https://chess24.com/en/watch/live-t...) should be the absolute priority. |

 | | MissScarlett: User: suenteus po 147 hasn't updated Game Collection: Game of the Day 2022 for six days. I don't like it when people fail to carry out their jobs properly. It appears he signed in on the 16th, which suggests he's still with us. Dial in, dude. |

| Sep-19-22 | | stone free or die: <<MIssy> Dial in, dude.> I really don't understand why <CG> can't automate the archiving of the various <"of the Day"> features. Seems rather unnecessary to burden a human with a task a script could do. I suppose it does give <Missy> a purpose in life though, monitoring human failings in so many dimensions. . |

 | | MissScarlett: The last dude I told to dial in died. Is mortality a failing? |

 | | MissScarlett: More likely he’s on holiday and separated from his laptop. |

 | | Willber G: He should get one of those portable laptops. |
