 | | stevemcd87: <MissScarlett: Can we change the system so that previous <GOTD>s can be repunned (to coin a word)? IIRC, that was possible at some point.> Is there something stopping you from repunning <GotD>s?
I believe the previous pun will be gone forever if you decide to go that route. |

Sep-20-23
 | | MissScarlett: Would I raise if it there wasn't? The message is <ERROR: This game has already been used as Game of the Day.> |
|
Sep-20-23

 | | MissScarlett: Is the Opening Explorer now being automatically updated as games are added to the DB? |
|
Sep-30-23
 | | stevemcd87: <MissScarlett: Is the Opening Explorer now being automatically updated as games are added to the DB?> We are in the process of automating the Opening Explorer.
The automation begins with the most recent game added to the database and works its way backward to the last game the program previously processed.
Any games added after the program begins will be processed the next round.
The program will likely be triggered weekly.
In the future, we will need to reprocess the entire database to account for games that have been edited. |

 | | Stonehenge: The rusbase links have stopped working, see Moscow Team Championship (1971). It should be like this: URS-ch sf Barnaul (1969). |
|
Sep-30-23 | | stone free or die: <(The real) Stone> The rusbase links have stopped working, ...> You mean like this one?
https://al20102007.narod.ru/nat_tou... It's working for me. Perhaps just a temporary glitch? (I'd really hate for that useful resource to disappear...) |

It should be like this: URS-ch sf Barnaul (1969).> In the examples provided, the links used different protocols(http and https). We updated the code to recognize both. |

 | | stevemcd87: We've made updates to the Opening Explorer .
It should no longer revert to white's point of view when browsing through the opening explorer as black.
There was also an issue of some diagrams that weren't flipping to black's point of view at all, this issue should have been resolved as well: chessgames.com chessforum
Let us know if you continue to encounter any of these issues. |
