Sep-09-23  Messiah: I am trying to submit 1-move long games for computer analysis, but it keeps saying that the analysis server is overloaded.

Check It Out: If you are on your cell phone you have to change your browser setting to "desktop site" to change PGN viewers. The pgn viewer option is not available while on the mobile view setting.

MissScarlett: Whoever uploaded the final rounds of the Champions Showdown 9LX (2023) made a right pig's ear of it. Leave well alone.
Sep-11-23  diceman: <MissScarlett: Whoever uploaded the final rounds of the Champions Showdown 9LX (2023) made a right pig's ear of it. Leave well alone.>

Looks like all the ends of the games are missing.

I hear

Sep-11-23  diceman: Olga seems to work with this game:

Robson vs Kasparov, 2023

The end of the game doesn't look like it's there, but it's also not there with the approved viewer.

MissScarlett: Works for me in <pgn4web>. What's weird is that when I set the viewer back to <Olga> it still resembles <pgn4web>. That goes for any of the 9LX games.

Do you get the 1-0 or 0-1?

What's there may be the end of the game, but it doesn't indicate a result.

MissScarlett: <pgn4web> doesn't display the result.
Sep-12-23  Messiah: It is very bad. Usually I am using CG with the PGN viewer of <None (text only)>, but in those games it forces me to use the <pgn4web>. :(

However, by clicking on <PGN: download | <view> | print>, at least I can see the starting position, so I can have an idea how the board looks like before move 1.

MissScarlett: Chess960 games now automatically prompt the message <Updated viewer to 'pgn4web' for 960 games> but the net has been cast too wide: J Brown vs Staunton, 1841
Sep-15-23  Messiah: Now there is evidence that you silently muted <perfy> for me, and possibly vice versa. Please retract it.

MissScarlett: Can we change the system so that previous <GOTD>s can be repunned (to coin a word)? IIRC, that was possible at some point.

I don't think that is a good idea.
