Domdaniel: Shakespeare correctly predicted the result of Aronian vs Carlsen, btw.

"Aroynt thee, witch, the rump-fed Aronian cried"

[modern English: "B----r off, kid!"]

"My pretty chickens and their dam in one fell swoop?"

[mod Eng: "That young boy is in deep water"]

... and so on. Maybe old Bill scored *all* the matches correctly... anyone who wants the Shagspere Inside Betting Track to future chess events, pls send $150 in used banknotes to Frogspawn, at the usual pond...

U-S-A! U-S-A! (That's how <Homer Simpson> often celebrates)

OK and I'll throw in

IN YOUR FACE, FLANDERS!!!

I can hardly see now. Rest for me! Unless I take this job I saw in our local local paper (very small)--

<Chicken Catching- Nightshift>

(not a joke, that's a real job in these parts).

I'm so tired.

Domdaniel: You could always try working as a chicken sexer. That's a real job too.

"First catch your chicken, then sex it."

Hmm. Finger-lickin' good pay, I trust?

  jessicafischerqueen: Good, very good <doctor>.

But I just found out about your first trip to Canada!

I watched <Hannibal Rising> and you visited Canada to <collect a head>.

good, very good.

That will go well with me killing everyong in the ballroom with a <telekinetic fit>.

So you're a front runner for sure!

Jun-04-07  Eyal: Hey Jess, congrats on finishing with the editing! (I'm in the middle of style editing an issue of our journal right now, so I can appreciate the relief). When do you start chasing chickens, then?
Jun-04-07  Dr.Lecter: Ok. More serious resume

Education: I'm a freaking genius! Didn't you see the movie?!

Former gfs: Not a good record. Ate all of them before going too far.

Looks: Watch the movie. Don't you notice just how creepy I look?

Personalities: I eat people, for pete's sake!

Just about everything else: Not too good. Very not too good

Jun-04-07  achieve: <Jess> <All>

Have a look at the collection of this crafty researcher <notyetagm> - It's easy accessible for learning and practicing all kinds of positional and tactical trademarks.

Jun-04-07  achieve: I'm left without much of a chance against the resumé of "the Doctor", except for the fact that I bit off part of my leg and ate it too.
Jun-04-07  whiteshark: Good evening Canada (13 points), good evening <JFQ>, I'll be out for three days (buzzy/for money => for chess).

Meanwhile you may have a thought on the saying: << Everbodies darling is everybodies idiot>>

Pleased to hear....

Jun-04-07  whiteshark: <I watched <Hannibal Rising>> there is a connection with Karlis Alexander Ozols; check it out

Domdaniel: <Jess> And now I think we're both at 5941.

Won't last, of course, this seeming parity, this neck-and-neck stuff. I'll be out-necked before long, I know it ...

Jun-04-07  Ragh: My predictions:

<June:
Jess 5941
Dom 5941
Ragh 692>

<July:
Jess 10941
Dom 6941
Ragh 792>

<Aug:
Jess 15941
Dom 7941
Ragh 892>

Jun-04-07  Dr.Lecter: Hmm. It's quite in here.

Just watched <Finding Forrester> Great movie! Sean Connery outdid himself. All the genius movies I'm watching nowadays are getting to my heart.

Domdaniel: I'm quite "in" here too, but I promise not to let it go to my head.... heh.

All this talk about 'genius movies' is finally having an effect -- I got a new portable DVD player today, so I can start catching up on all the movies I missed while I was hard at work being an ex-movie-critic.

The idea of watching movies and *not* getting paid for it just seemed wrong, somehow. Which is why I've seen almost everything from the 70s/80s/90s and practically nothing post-2000.

I'll now start the catchup with ... daa-daah ... <A Scanner Darkly>. The reason being I've had the disc for six weeks and haven't seen it yet.

Jun-05-07  Dr.Lecter: Two genius movies I still gotta watch.

<Good Will Hunting>
<Beautiful Mind>

Jun-05-07

jessicafischerqueen: <Doctor> all three of the "mind" movies you mention are excellent.

<A Beautiful Mind> is the best IMO.

Get it and enjoy! Kevin Spacey shouldda got an <Oscar> for it.

And I really liked <Hannibal Rising>, a lot in fact. The screenplay was written by the author of the novels, and I thought it was very well done.

Jun-05-07  Ragh: <The idea of watching movies and *not* getting paid for it just seemed wrong, somehow. > <Dom> That seems like a darn good idea.

  jessicafischerqueen: <Tactic101>

Going <semi-slavish> on me, are you?

No worries, it fits well with my plan to <make you my slave> in our inaugural <correspondence death match>.

I'm through with work, and it's my move in all four games. I'll be posting 1-4 moves, depending on how much thinkin I gits done today, and I will be able to move regularly again.

Thanks for your patience

Jun-05-07  Ragh: <Kevin Spacey shouldda got an <Oscar> for it.> Hey, its Russell Crowe and not Kevin Spacey.

jessicafischerqueen: <Tim> Great to hear from you!! Yes, I've actually been following the GMYS game closely, even voted on about a dozen moves.

But I haven't posted much, the last time I posted in there I started a BIG HONKING FIGHT yet again.

sigh.

I'm gonna drop by your place today sometime to see what you've been up to.

Jess
