Aug-19-07  Open Defence: thanks for a great game!!

always on the attack!!!

we had some close moments.. it will be a task to analyse this game but i think it is a fitting result...

Aug-19-07  hangingenprise: <jessica> it is the paraphernalia that was bought at a flea market in s. calif from the bekins storage unit ect. it comes on e-bay every once in awhile for an outrageous some of money. it is not up again for bid, but hasn't yet been sold.
Aug-19-07  hangingenprise: <the book has a nice cover> such the deal, i'm sold.

<big poster> google my dear, just google

Aug-19-07  hangingenprise: opps, sum of money, and yes you will spend some money if you confirm your bid.
Aug-19-07  brankat: <jessica> Thank You for a very interesting and entertaining game. Great effort by both sides. In the end, a fair outcome.

Our Host and Arbiter, Niels, experienced an unfortunate accident with his computer. At the moment we agreed to a Draw, Niels's computer crashed :-)

So now, after 2 months of hard work of closely watching, kibitzing and analyzing, he can't be present for the closing ceremony :-)

Thanks again. All the best, Branko.

jessicafischerqueen: CONGRADALATION to venerable enemy team.

Very fun game, I learned lots about how to play against Dragon.

I won two games this week with white against the Dragon on the Net, thanks in large part to <Eyal, Deffi and Brankat>.

THANK YOU FOR THE CHESS LESSONS.

Thanks <Niels> for <arbitting>.

It must have been hard work.

GET IT???

<Arbeit>er.

jessicafischerqueen: PS <Niels> I hope your poor computer can be saved.

Do you have health insurance for it?

My POS PC Labdog seems to have "fixed" itself somehow so I'm not buying a new one yet.

I'm taking this one to Korea and 'rolling the dice'.

If it dies I can order a new one by mail.

jessicafischerqueen: Hey you guys let's try to submit our game to the database here.

Let's run a <Fritz> on it before we submit it, to prove how brilliant we may have been.

jessicafischerqueen: <Bill> yes I'm very excited.

I'll be even more excited if my damn VISA is ready before my flight, If I manage to get on the flight, and if I manage to clear Korean customs.

I don't know when my semester starts.

All I know for sure is that I have to do a one week "orientation" that involves hiking and canooing.

If you run a University Chess Club you will be happy the rest of your days.

I am going to open a chess club in my apartment in Korea. (for real- one night a week. How hard could it be?)

  jessicafischerqueen: HI <ENPRISE>

tHAKS for the info.

I don't have a credit card and they don't give credit cards in Korea to foreigners.

So if I want a poster of <Bobby> I'm going to have to draw it myself.

I need to decorate my new apartment anyhoo.

jessicafischerqueen: OK there's this FRUIT chess engine for free download on the Net.

I have the link, and I'm thinking of downloading it instead of buying a Fritz.

I'm never going to get strong enough to need the best engine, but I'm strong enough to know that <Crafty> is a retarded chess engine.

A trained monkey can analyze better than Crafty.

Is FRUIT better than CRAFTY?

  jessicafischerqueen: <Chess Documentary Goldmine>

KK on <YouTube> you can watch a HUGE and MOST EXCELLENT documentary on the career of <Kasparov> with <Kasparov> analyzing many, many of his games.

The documentary is hours and hours long.

At least 4 and a half hours so far.

You can only watch it in 9 minute segments, but who cares you just click on the next chapter.

Find the chapters by typing this in the <You tube> search box:

<Garry Kasparov-My Story Vol. 1 Part 1>.

There are at least three volumes and you just move the numbers up. Nine parts to each volume.

Here is the first part of Volume one:

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

<YOU HAVE NO FRIENDS.

Heh <rub it in>, why don't they.

OK everyone watch <unholyevangelists'> <videos> on <Garry Kasparov>.

He has uploaded a <4 HOUR GARRY KASPAROV DOCUMENTARY> featuring scads of games analyzed live by <Kasparov> himself.

I'm just past half way through watching it.

It's the greatest TV show in history!!
