- John Trigonometrist

<Among years of pestilence,
And swords of insolence,
I watch you Rimbaud,
The feather on your hair,
Leather on your mare,
Tears in your eye(s),
And your life on this ice...

Why this same silent Trigo,
Who kept silence to his amigos,
Now walks the broken glass,
Of the green poetic grass?
Why the answer to this,
Amid cloudier risks,
Why the Jess chess forum,
Now houses poetic decorum>

Jun-01-09  Boomie: <Jessie Fischer Fanatic>

Here's an interesting link to a first hand account of The Match. This also includes links to a temporal breakdown of most of the games. You can see how much time Spassky took over move 16 in game 6, etc.

http://www.crackteam.org/2008/11/02...

Jun-01-09  Eyal: Yeah, it's always fascinating to look at the clock times; a pity it wasn't - and still isn't - more common to record them. For example, if you look at how much time Spassky spent on move 11 on game 8, or at his overall time management on game 5 compared to Fischer's, it becomes much easier to understand how he blundered so horribly in both games.
