In celebration, we remember him every year, coming from either Spain or Turkey. He had the gift-giving anomaly many years back as well - gathering deep debts, culminating in a yearly flee from debt-collectors to either Spain or Turkey. Several weeks later, when everyone was too busy with the festivities, he'd sneak back by boat. This became a tradition, so after some years the Dutch just figured they'd better buy him his own boat instead. That's why he always visits our country with an old steam-powered boat.
