I noticed the poetic tribute to Kupreichik, and found a similar one to Bobby nearby, done by the same person. In case you haven't seen it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&f...

Waited up all night to see the eclipse. Went out a couple of times to enjoy the full moon in crystal skies. Now I go out and find a fog has rolled in. Talk about pea soup. This one has ham and green eggs.

The last total eclipse of my life and I'm not a part of it? Ghod will not let this happen! I will be allowed to fulfill my destiny. His will be done.

jessicafischerqueen: <Thanh Phan> you are right, the new youtube design actually makes it harder to find videos onsite. It seems designed mainly to horn in on Facebook and other social loser sites.

It's a shame, you know they will force the new design on everyone eh? Sooner rather than later. They always do.

Dec-11-11  brankat: Hi Jess.

Thank You for the PGN/FEN tip. The method doesn't seem to be to complex after all :-)

jessicafischerqueen: <branko> yes, alas, it is indeed simple. Back in the day, chess playing swineherds used a rhyme to teach the method:

"Keep your PGNS in the FEN."

Dec-11-11  Boomie: <Phony Benoni: <Boomie> Don't worry about the eclipse. There was nothing to see.>

Actually, I was just trying to sneak in yet another movie reference. Jessie and I are hooked on lines from the Godfather. Sometimes I go with Patton. Go figure.

Dec-14-11  Albertan: Jessica and friends I would like to wish all of you Seasons Greetings, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

<jessicafischerqueen:> <Congratulations> on return to the> <OTB circuit- sounds like you're> <already having a lot of fun. I hope > <I can find a few OTB games in <Vancouver whilst on holiday this > year.

Thank you Jessica that is very kind and thoughtful of you! I went to Monday night active chess last night and I didn't get home until after 3 pm because after the tournament, 4 of us stayed at the club and had a series of best 2 out of 3 blitz matches. That was fun and it was great talking with these great friends who I have really missed in my year away from the club. By the way the reason I left for a year was because someone displayed terrible manners and behavior towards me during and after a tournament game. I found out last night that "he" was banned for a who year from the club,so it is nice to have the support of the Club and the directors and President in relation to this.

<That article about "chess etiquette"> <was great, thanks for the playlist> < as always!>

Jessica it is interesting you mention this when I had this situation in regards to this "person" at the club!I am glad that you enjoyed reading it and thanks for your support in regards to the links I posted last time! :)I hope you are having a good week and I am so happy that you are going to visit your family in Vancouver this Christmas I hope you have a very special time! :)
