jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

I'll be interested to see what other films readers might suggest.

jessicafischerqueen: <Tintoretto> I didn't get where I am today by ignoring your televisual feast suggestions.

I'm ripping the ripper as I type, in 720p.

Incidentally, I don't care for people who don't pronounce that "720pee."

Mar-11-13  Travis Bickle: Hi Jess, in 1965 The Beatles were on top of The World, they recorded 3 albums, 'Beatles For Sale', 'Help' plus they did the movie & also this classic piece of vinyl! Bob Dylan turned them on to pot in N.Y. City, and Lennon & McCartney recorded Rubber Soul, a play on words about British soul sounding plastic as compared to American soul music. The photographer who did the album cover showed it to the Beatles but it was out of focus & their faces seemed to appear elongated or stretched, The Beatles saw it and they said leave it out of focus because it works with the title of Rubber Soul! ; P

P.S. This was definitely their pot album, and it took me years to finally notice that behind the Fab 4 was a great growth of marijuana on the front cover of the record! ; P

How does one put those blue youtube things up? Here's one of my favorite, the moody blues.

Mar-22-13  waustad: I've been posting some links to games on my own personal page for my own convenience. I have no intention of doing something as involved as what Malthrope used to do. It would show my own biases and interests, and if people didn't like it they'd lose, but should I edit these links into my profile header (or whatever it's called) or keep sending myself messages for my own convenience? This is a widely read page, so maybe I'll get some response.
