In case anyone is wondering why most of the <Fischer games collections> in my profile are now erased, it's because I didn't back them up properly by mirroring them.

These collections were created by <TheFocus>, and he has now deleted all of his games collections, as far as I can tell.

He must be upset, and he may be going through a rough time.

His legacy of work in the <Biographer's Bistro> and in the <Tournament Index> is substantial, to say the least, so I thank <TheFocus> for all of that work, and I hope he is feeling better soon.

Hang in there, <TheFocus>.

Jul-18-14  Travis Bickle: Jess, did you know this song was banned from the radio in the 60's?

http://youtu.be/3Fn36l_z3WY

Jul-18-14  Travis Bickle: That reminds me Jess, you didn't like Homicidal or Mr Sardonicus?

  jessicafischerqueen:

<Trapezoid>

Why would they ban that? It's a fine novelty song! I never heard it before.

I haven't watched <Homicidal> or <Mr Sardonicus> yet, but my vacation is soon so I'll have time to watch all of the horrors recommended by friends on my list: http://www.imdb.com/list/ls070522782/

I will have time then to write a few IMDB reviews on some of the horrors too, which I haven't done yet.

Every time I sign in IMDB it says YOU HAVEN'T WRITTEN A REVIEW YET.

Good thing I'm already used to websites yelling at me.

  jessicafischerqueen: AHHHH

I just saw you post on my list! I didn't even know people could do that.

I was just thinking a second ago that I bet nobody has ever clicked on the list except me.

I celebrated by yelling at you in reply.

Jul-19-14  Travis Bickle: Jess, they banned everybody's favorite song on AM radio in the 60's because they went politically correct on us, (making fun of the crazees... LOL!!), for the 1st time in history! ; P

P.S. AHHHH, to you too! I hollered back at ya. {:O)

OhioChessFan: They banned THAT?! Whew. Have you ever heard the backwards version?
Jul-19-14  Travis Bickle: <OhioChessFan> Yeah but I couldn't understand it Elvis. ; P

<t=beon>, <Ohio>

Jinx- I was trolling on the IMDB horror boards today and ran across an article that said Stanley Kubrick's <The Shining> is synched both forwards and in reverse.

They said it was a palindrome, but I couldn't understand the argument.

I actually wasted around half an hour trying to get my video editor to play a film backwards, but no go.

Oh I mentioned this a long time ago now, but I did see <The Wizard of Oz> synched to <The Dark Side of the Moon>.

It does seem to be synched, at least in parts.

Synched or not, it was most certainly awesome.

Looks like I picked a bad decade to give up picking mushrooms.

<Travis> didn't you post this for me a while ago?

<Strawberry Fields> backwards:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oog5...

It's just as great as it is frontwards if you ask me. Maybe because melodies played backwards are still melodies, and nobody wrote better melodies than the <seltaeB>.

Jul-19-14  Travis Bickle: <jessicafischerqueen> Ms Jess, I never did post Strawberry Fields Forever backwards for you maam... Although in the forward version of Strawberry Fields they do feature the song backwards near the end of the song! ; P

P.S. On the run off groove of Sgt Peppers album contains a backmasked message.

Jul-19-14  Travis Bickle: Jess, here is the ending of the Sgt. Peppers album with this eerie backmasked message played forward then backwards. Backwards it's supposed to sound like, "will Paul come back as Superman"... ; P

http://youtu.be/DaXnqw-Zv0Y

It started the Paul is Dead rumors, from weird messages on certain Beatles albums, another is The White Album. I think some is coincidence & some is too much LSD use by The Beatles.
