Oh for the love of <Shams> I never now what post you are referring to.
Possibly you secretly think I am <Garry Kasparov> and you are annotating my famous move against Karpov in my first win against him in the 1985 WCC? One of my favorite characteristics about "The Fractious Floridian," for whom I had a considerable soft spot, was his delightful penchant for adding multiple ??s and !!!!!s to moves in his many annotations. |

|
| Feb-22-15 | | chessmoron: I liked "The Spectacular Now" but the crash and Shailene Woodley's character response after, made me so upset. How could any girl forgave a guy who push you off the car and get hit by a car? That is so unsettling and so unreal. |

| Feb-23-15 | | achieve: <Jess> Just now lowered my glass after raising it for Shailene! In fact aside from her performances, I was delighted with her and her attitude and presence in interviews. So candid and honest. Just hoping she keeps that up as her star is rising and more money and pull by film bosses are directed towards her. I sorta put my faith in her, hehe, but we'll see how she develops. No matter what happens, she is an amazing young woman. |

<tbon> What a great song! I was expecting a heavy drug use psychodelic number, but this jaunty sixties track hits the spot. Great photos of the road, Chicago and the lake.
QUESTION: Why isn't the lake called <Lake Chicago>? For some mood counterpoint, here is the eerie 60's hit from <Donovan> that was used to great effect in the serial killer movie "Zodiac": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHV...
Protip: Donovan is extremely good looking man ok. |

<Niels> I think Shailene's star will grow and grow. It helps that she's offered roles in substantive films with actual screenplays, and characters and such. |

 | | OhioChessFan: 'I Saw Her Standing There' was a b side. Of course, the a side was 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand'. 'Revolution' was a b side to 'Hey Jude'. 'Come Together and 'Something' were sort of a double a side release. Probably 'Yesterday' as a b side to 'Act Naturally' would be a case where the b side was clearly superior. |

Ingenious! I was hampered by not knowing what <ziti> was. I just GOOGLED it now. Here is a visual aid to help fellow Italian pasta neophytes: http://www.pipandebby.com/storage/0... Thanks also for that B-side Beatles history. "Yesterday" is clearly an example of the B-side winning. |

 | | OhioChessFan: <The Beatles' influence over their U.S. record label, Capitol, was not as strong as it was over EMI's Parlophone in Britain. A single was released in the U.S., pairing "Yesterday" as the B-Side of "Act Naturally", a track which featured vocals by Ringo, the most popular Beatle in the States at that time. After the tremendous success of "Yesterday", the order in which the songs appeared on the sleeves was changed.> http://beatles.wikia.com/wiki/Yeste... |
|
| Feb-27-15 | | Travis Bickle: I was talking about Yesterday being released as the A side in America!! Act Naturally was released on an EP (easy play) on a 4 songs single in BRITAIN!!! Only... P.S. "Yesterday" was voted the best song of the 20th Century, in a 1999 BBC Radio 2 poll of music experts and listeners - despite never being a UK number one single. Screwhead British!! Later that same year, "Yesterday" was included as the title track for the U.S.-only "Yesterday and Today" album, which was originally packaged in the now famous (or infamous) "butcher sleeve". The single was charting by 29 September 1965, and topped the charts for a full month, beginning on October 9. The song spent a remarkable total of 11 weeks in the American charts, selling a million copies within five weeks. "Yesterday" was the most-played song on American radio for eight consecutive years, its popularity refusing to abate. |
|
| Feb-28-15 | | Travis Bickle: To make better sense of what I posted before about the song Yesterday, the sentence Later that same year, "Yesterday" was included as the title track for the U.S.-only "Yesterday and Today" album, which was originally packaged in the now famous (or infamous) "butcher sleeve".) is not part of the above paragraph about the U.K. 1999 voting for best pop song of the 20th century... |
