<Jim> Thanks for that information, especially about <Salmon Dave>. I looked at some of their performances on youtube. This one is simply outstanding in every respect- I don't know if it is from an aired TV show or not, but it's from 1967 and it is awesome: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fS... |

<Aston Villa v Southampton> Ouch!
<Tim Sherwood> puts three at the back and puts his line almost at center field- so Villa can attack early, and then <Mane> scores 3 goals in 3 minutes!? for Southampton...
I watched this game with Russian commentary, but I didn't need to understand the words when they kept cutting to Tim Sherwood holding his head in his hands. Still not going to be relegated though.>
This is a classic case of FA Cup Final distraction ... He coughs and sputters lol It's a well known illness and even the classiest of patients suffer from it ... especially the ones who've not had it since 1957... Ahem .. lol lol |

It's no worries <Hozza>, so long as they offer Jack Grealish a proper contract and keep him on side. I think he's a future <Neville> or <Gerard> and that a franchise could be built around him. They may well be FA champions, and nowadays the commentators aren't digging through the record books as much to see how many FA Cup winners were relegated in the same year. <Tim Sherwood> for Spurs and now Villa, and Villa's stats are better than before Sherwood, particularly on goal scoring. I think next year could be grand for them. They aren't broke or anything eh? They need to avoid buying any of the mega price duds who might come on the market, such as <Gareth Bale>- money better spent on as many as three other players who might turn out better for the club. I'm actually pro-Bale, but I think he has nagging and recurring leg injuries, and he seems to have really bad luck. It doesn't help that Spanish football fans want their stars to score 3 goals a game every game. Some of these other mega stars don't play so well in the Premier League as they do in Europe- such as <Teves> and <Louis David> and so on. <Teves> has been monstrous for Juve this year- is he the TOP SECRET reason you can't stand them? |

When Grealish's contract is up, I mean. I just realized I don't know what his current contract is, and I'm too lazy to look it up. lol |

Fabulous Maruana is smoking the FIDE Grand Pricks.
Sviddler Crab is lurking, ready to pounce should Fabian (he can't sing either) falter. Meanwhile, Chief Nakahoma can't buy a win. Oh, the humanity! A. Giri, Wrath of Gort continues to disappoint. Perhaps the tremblers in Nepal have disturbed him. |

It just occurred to me that my exquisite new (and completely copyrighted) pun "Chief Nakahoma" went somewhat unappreciated. Perhaps the reference is too obscure? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chief_... |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: ahhhhh
I don't know any baseball trivia. I did like the pun, but I thought it might be a reference to <Chief Tacoma>, who built the Seattle International Airport in Tacoma. Or it may have been <Chief SEATAC> for all I know. It is an excellent fight in the tourney. They were in a fighting mood yesterday in particular. |

<Tim> There was more, in the nostalgia category. For some reason your puns got me thinking about when <Eyal> outright refused the nickname <Kantuck: Frontierswoman>. This, from a man who had already accepted the nicknames <Cabin> and <Carbon>. He even had the effrontiery to post the most unflattering photo of Annie Oakley ever taken and claim that *I* was <Kantuck: Frontierswoman> and it was me in the photo. |

 | | harrylime: The English Prem is different to other European leagues and yeah you'll get players dying in England yet flourishing in say Italy .. Tevez did some cool stuff at West Ham tho so I think his situation is more personnal re comparisons lol ... I like Bale too. I think he's a genius. I also think moving to Real was a mistake for him... Question <Jess> !
How many times have Aston Villa won the FA Cup ? |

A secret massage was sent about a week ago. Perhaps it was buried in your copious correspondence. It includes the latest installment of Boomie at the Boobie so you don't want to miss it. To the Boobie list, add Madam Secretary. Usually the prime time major network offerings do not appeal but this one is exceptional. A sprinkling of good humor combined with a look into the inner workings of power makes for a satisfying meal. Burp. |

<Hozza> I'm going to guess 8 times? Thanks for that great article on <Grealish!> That goal he scored when he was a wee lad was really something eh? He beat four (4) players in succession, two of whom fouled him. I'm just catching up on the only <Villa game> I haven't seen since you told me you supported them - May 9 game against <The Hammers>. Be wary of posting any spoilers in here for a week, ok? The final week of EPL play is on and I have to be careful, because it will be harder to avoid spoilers on the internet. I'm always watching the games around 3 days later because I have to wait till they are posted on the internet. <Juve> won the COPPA ITALIA eh? Great game against <FC Lesbians> too. They were a tough nut to crack, but goals by <Chellini> and Giant Japanese Monster <Mothra> gave them the second leg of a possible Treble- if they beat <Barca> in the OOFA Final they should be the only team to have a treble this year. <Barca> still has a chance for a treble if they beat <Juve> and if they win the Coppa Del Rey- if Spanish football doesn't go on strike before the game. No titles or hardware for <Real Madrid> this year. |

<Hozza> ok 1-0 Villa. I think the side is already full of quality players, and that <Tim Sherwood> is indeed the answer. But if Villa go into the second half of the FA Cup final and try to sit on a 1 goal lead like they did against The Hammers, they're likely to get bitten in the ARSEnal. I like to watch Arsenal as well- they had a long period of great form in the second half of the season, the only part I have watched regularly. Grealish assisted on the goal and also put a long ball right on Abonlahore's foot in the dying minutes. He even pushed a guy who fouled him. |
