Heh... Yes it's beautiful too. Are those scenes shot in Chicago? Here is my favorite line from the film:

Just noticed that Morlock Miseries has been picked up by a major US network. This is perhaps a first for an offering from the Great White North. Maybe not. Truth be told, I just wanted to show off my latest pun, "Morlock Miseries", which is, of course, under the protection of all the copyright laws known in Christendom. |

<Hanh> Great poem thanks- I actually saw Taylor Mali perform in Montreal. He's amazing- he did a poem about a girl who always says "like" and you should have heard the people laughing. |

<Teem> I got "Murdoch Mysteries" but I didn't know it was Canadian! I resorted to GARBLED for the <JF Sebastien> but all I came up with was the character from <Blade Running Shoe> and a fellow who made three very interesting looking movies that, according to IMDB, nobody in the world has actually seen. Did you watch them? Did they have Spanish subtitles so you could understand them? |
|
| Jun-04-15 | | playground player: <jessicafischerqueen> <Mrs. PGP> is plum crazy for <Murdock Mysteries>. We watch it online every Sunday afternoon. I like it, too--it's one of those shows that grows on you. |

| Jun-04-15 | | Boomie: <Jets All the Way - I got "Murdoch Mysteries" but I didn't know it was Canadian!> The fact that Mamluk Miniseries is set in Victorian Toronto seemed a compelling clue. <JF Sebastian> I was indeed referring to the ill fated engineer in Braid Drummer. Too bad you didn't send your answer in the much discussed but little seen response to my last missive. You could have had a lifetime supply of bear claws. |

<Teem, Lee> I thought it was set in Toronto, England! I had also been laboring under the impression that <Hans Brinker> was set in Toronto. I am so stoped... |

Football report
Well I finally caught up with all of the available games. I was choked that Villa couldn't show better in the FA Cup, but given Arsenal's season-ending form there was no shame there. Arsenal destroyed a sleeping West Brom in the last EPL game and I think they would have beaten any side in the world the way they played the FA Cup. I noticed that Man City finished the last part of the season on top form about ONE SECOND after they mathematically couldn't catch Chelsea for the league title. It helped that Aguero was back and fit. On Euro leagues, please watch for spoilers because I won't see the UEFA final until a day or two after it's played. Juventus and Barcelona both gave up leads late and settled for a draw in their last league game- perhaps understandable but in both cases it was shockingly bad mistakes and a lack of concentration. Barca looked monstrous winning the Coppa Del Rey- they are massive favorites to win the UEFA final and rightly so. I'm just now watching the Europa League final and Dnipro Kiev is up 1-0 over Sevilla so far. I hope they win the game, just for a change of pace since Sevilla has won the Europa League recently. Dnipro defends well and they scrap for every ball, but they literally can't put three passes together. I can't see them winning the "Super Final" against either Juve or Barca, who would surely notch an 80+ possession rate against Dnipro. If they do beat Sevilla. I'm going to watch the rest of the game now. |

 | | jessicafischerqueen:
<Ohio> I hear you, but I've already made my statement on that. I posted in the Bistro pretty much exactly what you just wrote in my forum, and I named the "someone"- <z>. There was no response of any kind from anyone- not from fellow biographers or from <z>. Zero (0) response. Off an on, <tab> has been complaining about it for months now. No result.
Anyways, my days of trying to "help" or "lead" anything are over. Not once did my "help" or "leadership" produce anything other than a growing consensus among the membership that I'm a loud mouthed crank. So I'm done with all that. I suppose the last resort would be emailing the webmaster. It's worth trying, but my prediction is you'd get a polite, empathetic reply and then nothing- nothing whatever- would actually happen. Welcome to cg.com: The Black Hole of Florida, where time has no meaning, and bedsheets are a bourgeois concept. |

 | | harrylime: Yo <Jess> !
Your football report was cool reading!
The Villa.Jeez.They just did'nt show up ...but maybe that's because Arsenal were just the better team.. the gulf in class reflected the league positions... I was hoping for a bit of 'cup magic' but The Arse scored goals at the right time too to kill off the game.. I was gutted and arrived on this sites chess cafe looking for a bit of TLC and I think I ended up with <Focus> lol lol (My fan club numbers zero on there lol) Still! The Villa have Sherwood now and just need a new owner... Aston Villa will always be Aston Villa ! The Prem was pretty predictable and pretty uninteresting for me.. .. Why Arsenal left it soooo late to get into gear I'll never know tho ??! DCFC suffered chronic meltdownitis ! A mystery which only Mr Brolly can solve.. Paul Clement has arrived at Pride Park from Real Madrid so the plot thickens in the east midlands ! lol Seviila won that cup (no spoilers here you must know this now ) but I like Real Betis so not crazy about that result ! lol .. Watched Barca v Juve last nite.. wonderful game !
No spoilers here dot com tho ! lol |

 | | jessicafischerqueen:
<Hozza> yes great credit to Colombian striker <Chewbacca> who assisted on the first goal and added two more of his own to pace Sevilla to an exciting win. All credit to Juve for making a real game of it against Barca too. Match of the year in my book- football at its best in every expect. I can't wait for the South America "Coppa Tea" competition which starts at the end of June. I will be backing Uruguay lol. |
