<Hozza>
Match of the month for me- <Arsenal v Leicester City> Sept. 26!! Alexis Sanchez starts "his" season here by single handedly putting Leicester to the sword. Not unbeaten any more eh? End to end open football, the way it's meant to be played- at least for the fans, I should think. |
|

Thanks <thegoodbreakfast>. It's been a long time eh? How are you doing, old sock?> A little worn in the toes. How are you, dear? |

So yeah <Jess> I'm agreeing with you here big time . Hey and the Manc clubs both won in Europe the other nite so who knows ? Arsenal may even come back from the dead ... early doors still i guess... |

 | | jessicafischerqueen:
<Hozza> I'll get back to you on UCL week after I finish watching the games. I'm still on September 29. I just finished watching Robert Lewandowsky score 3 goals in a dismantling of Dinamo Zagreb. I guess scoring 5 goals in 9 minutes last week wasn't enough for him. He's clearly "striker of the week" eh?
Ok back later... |
|
| Oct-02-15 | | Robed.Bishop: Jess - Thanks for stopping by and thank you for your kind words. Knowing that I'm one of the CG7 might lead others to disagree with you, however, while I, of course, will simply remain silent on the subject. I hadn't looked at your avatar closely enough to see a hat, and now that I've looked by squinting my eyes and moving my readers in and out for optimal vision, I still don't see it. I will, however, take your word for it and acknowledge your tilt with a slight bow of my own. The topic of limiting avatars to avoid the personal feelings of users is typical of the day and of course has no simple solution. For example, if the avatar is of a famous "bad" person, how would disparaging comments from a user here reflect badly on the historical figure? For those who still believe that Marie Antoinette said "Let them eat cake!" there is little you can do to ruin her reputation. For the rest of us, well who knows. Frankly, it never crossed my mind to associate your comments to your avatar. Now that I've said this much, it occurs to me to wonder what conclusions people draw of me from my avatar. As if I care. Take care, and keep a look out for the imminent missile launch from your neighbor to the north. |

I said I *didn't* have a hat. Unless I accidentally posted the wrong thing. Hang on- Aha yes it is cryptic.Sorry brah!
<My hat's off to you.
Really it is. Do you see a hat on my avatar?> "My hat's off to you" meaning it's no longer on my head. That's why you can't see a hat on my head, I took it off to you. I suppose it would be somewhere down below the avatar head, in my hand. On a related topic I'm mortally insulted by your avatar and I demand that it be banned. Actually, on second thought I think it's the greatest avatar in history, and any member who complains about it should be banned immediately. |

<Hozza> I still haven't gotten up to the ManC games, but I just saw Arsenal lose a game they should certainly have won. David "Where's the Ball" Ospina can directly be faulted for this loss against Olympiu Dukakis, in my view. So I'm left wondering, why did Arson Bengal Tiger "rest" Peter Czechoslovakia? It's this kind of mystery that makes me doubt the EPL's commitment to competing seriously in Europe. Right this minute I'm a third of the way through Chelsea-Portobello Mushroom and it's an excellent game so far- but I'm thiking over and over why no Hazard? Why no Courtois? Are they injured? Maybe Courtois is injured eh? But why no Hazard? He's not just the best player on the team, he's the engine that drives the entire offence. So goes Hazard, so goes Chelsea. Ok back later. |

<Eden Hozzard>
Well I finished watching Chelsea-Porto and that was a cracking match, one of the best I've seen this fall. Porto is a big, strong, fast and well-organized side and Chelsea put up a good fight. Diego Costa was really unlucky not to equalize in the second half, and Willian scored a great set piece for the second game in a row. Jose Mereno did his imitation of the Grinch who stole Christmas and refused to play John Terry again. Not sure what he's up to or why he had Hazard benched until the 60th minute. |
|
| Oct-03-15 | | thegoodanarchist: <jessicafischerqueen:
Good Heavens is that the American Speaker of the House? Who is it now, Ernie or Bert?> Does it matter? And to answer the first question, he may have derailed his election to Speaker by telling the truth about the Benghazi hearings [he told Fox "news" that the hearings are a political witch hunt to damage Clinton's rep]. He seems to be employing the George W Bush method of public speaking (bungle your phrases). Back to the days of putting food on our families? We shall know next week. |

<thegoodbreakfast> Putting food on our families might make for some interesting performance art. Which presidential candidate is most "pro- performance art"? Hill-Dawg? Mike Huckleberry Finn? Donald Duck? |

 | | jessicafischerqueen:
<The Dukes of Hozzard> Quite right on the Mancs. Very encouraging performances and good guts from both Manchesters against the dread Euro opposition. I'm finally caught up. Please don't post any EPL results until Friday ok? It takes me that long to watch all the matches. <THE WEEK THAT WERE:> Overall "man of the week" Robert Lewandowsky, for scoring a thousand goals in three minutes. EPL "man of the week" Harry Kane for opening his league account. Harry: "I'm just enjoying me football.."
lol that's all he ever says in post-game interviews. I'm enjoying your football too, Harry. |
|
| Oct-04-15 | | playground player: <jessicafischerqueen> Imagine my astonishment when I read that the little picture representing you is not you at all, but someone called "Marie Antoinette." What is this? I didn't get where I am today by pretending to be Marie Antoinette. Neither I nor <Mrs. PGP> have ever pretended to be Marie Antoinette. |
|
| Oct-04-15 | | SugarDom: But you're pretending to be a T-Rex. |
|
| Oct-04-15 | | thegoodanarchist: And possibly a 1-legged T-Rex at that. |

My dear <Tyrannosaurus Rex>, I have to concur with the honorable member from Baguio City, and the honorable member from the healthy breakfast lobby. I fear that you offend many fans of the bona fide <T Rex> by appropriating his image and using it to help the "Elect Hill-Dawg for President" campaign. Unless I've got my facts wrong. |
