<Hozza> I've been so busy at work this month that I literally haven't had time to watch a single match in that time.
I've downloaded the games from my favorite sides- <Tottenham>, <Dortmund>, <Arsenal>- and I'll continue to do so until I have time to watch them all in sequence. So please, don't tell me anything for the next month about standings or who won what game? I know it's a pain in the arse but I do want to catch up on my favorite sides in "real time sequence" when I get the chance.
Unfortunately that won't be for a while- I'm super busy at work still for the next month.
The thing about football is that I don't like reading the match results. I don't even like watching the highlight reels.
For me, the whole point of watching a football match is to immerse myself in the rhythm and tension of the entire game. The reward for this can be phenomenal- such as <Kun Aguero> putting Argentina ahead very late in a WC qualifying match with a truly impossible diving header:

Or <Harry Kane's> first goal for Blighty. England was up 3-0 when he went on, but for me the excitement of this match only started when he stepped on to the pitch. If I had seen this happen on a highlight reel it wouldn't have meant so much to me- but it meant a great deal to me watching it in real time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RL6...
When Harry scored I jumped up and down and threw stuffed animals about my room. I would never have done that if I'd seen it on a highlight reel.
Check out the reaction shot of <The Skipper> on the sidelines- Wayne Rooney is delighted for Harry, no hint of envy. What a mensch.
Usually the heroic deed doesn't come through, of course. But when it does... nothing in sport can match it, for my money.

As for <Leicester>... heh
It's still early days, but <Jamie Vardy> is definitely a contender for EPL footballer of the year. And he's English! When is the last time an Englishman won that award?
I love <Jamie Vardy>. I remember the game in particular when he got his leg bent like a matchstick- he lay on the ground for some time and when he got up he could only walk with assistance. So he hobbled off the pitch, whilst the commentators worried that it could even be a season-ending injury. The slow motion replay looked awful- Jamie's leg bent in a clearly impossible position, like it would snap right off.
But they didn't replace him, and after several minutes of a 10 man side, Jamie limped back onto the pitch, clearly in agony, and finished the entire match in truly ferocious style. Once he started running with the ball again he looked like nothing at all had happened to him.
The look in his eye when he plays is like that of a psychopathic killer.
Now *that's* a footballer.
Check this out- <Jamie Vardy> mugs <Diego Costa> and then watch the look in his eye when he faces off with him after the tackle. Two dirty strikers = two great strikers in my view: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgM...
