Not really my cup of tea, but they held my interest enough to keep watching until the end. Generally I prefer Indie horror, although 99 percent of them are terrible. Actually 99 percent of all horror movies are unwatchable, but that doesn't stop me from watching (at least the beginning) of almost all of them in search of those rare gems- which make it all worthwhile, at least for me. They can't make films that are insightful, make you feel or even make you think because Hollywood figures there's no profit in it. They've perfected the art of blowing things up, beating people into bloody pulps & heroes for young minds to look up to who use machine guns on entire city blocks like Al Capone & his ilk used to for real.
