<Trombone> I'm teaching this song to a bunch of civil servants tomorrow, and I need to know what "it" is?

Let it be.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtN...

Let what be, exactly?

That's what I need to know because they are sure to ask.

*Shepard's Bush*

Jul-06-17  thegoodanarchist: In all seriousness <JFQ >, "it " is Paul's trouble.

So when he finds himself in times of "trouble " his dead mother Mary comes to him in a vision and tells him to let it be

Jul-06-17  thegoodanarchist: Jess, question: Do the Korean men ever grope you as they file out after class?
Jul-06-17  thegoodanarchist: Paul's mother also appeared in visions telling him to eat his vegetables, but that song didn't make the album.

<The Good Anteater> Amazing! I didn't know his mother was named Mary.

So it's autobiographical in origin, but he wrote the song universally for the great unwashed, such as myself.

Thank you.

Korean men never grope me or anyone else, because they don't have time.

The following audiovisual aid will explain. One word is heard at the start of the video, "hol."

Literally, that means "wow," but it is only used to mean "Omigod this is terrible."

<The Good Anteater> Paul's vegetable dream song almost made the Magical Mystery Tour record, but it was cut.

Here is the cut McCartney song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfR...

Jul-06-17  thegoodanarchist: <didn't know his mother was named Mary>

I am guessing it must be true because I heard it on the radio a long time ago.

Jul-06-17  thegoodanarchist: Jess

Thank you for your reply in my forum. It reminded me that too few parents name their children Bardleby or even Bartleby.

This really makes me pine for the good ol' days.

Jul-06-17  Travis Bickle: Jess, It's your decision, but I wouldn't.

Jul-06-17  Boomie: <Jezabee: Let it bee>

Where are the Bee Girls when you really need them?

I'll take a wild stab and say Mother Mary is Avalokitesvara and *It* is the Dharma of the Lord Buddha. That should shut up those meddling whelps you call students.

Jul-06-17  Alien Math: <jessicafischerqueen> i'm starting to worry a bit also about trumps dramatic actions or reactions after he used cruise missiles in one incident and a moab bomb on another,

in other thoughts i like the idea of an amirite stone on a necklace, it just sounds neat

Jul-07-17  Boomie: I was going to announce a large amirite deposit found in the mountains above Revelstoke, but that would be viewing an amirite vein in a jocular vein. So forget that...

<Travis> Thanks again- my mother thinks the same as you. The thing is, if I leave Korea this summer, I can't finish my contract, and if I don't finish my contract I don't get my Korean pension. After 10 years teaching in Korea, my pension here is a very substantial sum. My contract doesn't finish until the end of February.

Should I gamble?

heh Dog Eating is going out of style- usually only old men in country villages do it these days. Luckily I know exactly where a dog restaurant is in Hyunpoong, where I used to live. I also know exactly where a dog factory is way up the Gum-ho River. You can hear them howling from five miles away.

Another new Beatles song I never heard, and on dogs too! Is there any subject they didn't cover?

The "Let it Be" lesson went well this morning. It turned out that the students knew "Mary" was actually Paul's mother, which I didn't know until <The Good Anteater> told me.

<Teem>

<Avalokitesvara> is the sister of <Sackojaweea> the Indian princess, if I"m not mistaken.

Revelstoke doesn't have any amirite, but it used to have this tourist attraction that was a miniature elf village of some kind. I remember it vividly because it scared the living crap out of me.

My good <The Good Anteater> just so!

Have you read the story? It really is superb.

It's Melville's best short story, in my view, and you can read it here:

What aboot a grand reopening?

Jul-07-17  Alien Math: <jessicafischerqueen> many here take their views from the elders who went through the cold war era intact,

and have a You heard about the North Korea missiles? that is something isn't it? and go back to talking about the weather,

they suggest the basic emergency things like 3 gallons of water per household member, iodine pack and couple first aid kits along with a used army surplus hand cranked radio, flashlights and such,

oh we are going to try watch War for the Planet of the Apes next week
