Yes I have indeed seen Crapenter's <Drak Stra> and I share your admiration.

I have seen all Crapenter's films, most several times over.

<Assault on Precinct 19> is another ultra low budget gem.

Did you know that he started composing the soundtracks to his own films because he couldn't afford to pay someone to do it?

Look how that turned out. His score to <Halloween> is considered by many to be the greatest horror score in history:

Ooh it's scaring me right now just listening to it.

Oct-09-17  Boomie: <jessicafischerqueen: Then it's a rare banner day for SCREW TUBE amirite.>

It's been up for only an hour and I've already got 14 hits and two thumbs. Well, OK, one thumb is mine, but still...

Oct-09-17  Boomie: <Jessticles: Audiovisual aid>

The paddle ball bit was homage to the original "House of Wax".

Oct-09-17  Alien Math: maybe they are not the best, but they do satisfy our "we are in the horror zone" part of the movies, which is why i included them. those i recommend i usually are rewatching at least a few times, if only to keep in the mood of the season <3 i would recommend both you and Boomie to viewers who like movies and want to keep watching

jessicafischerqueen: <Hanh> I'm new to non-color emoticons that aren't Cocomong characters so I'm guessing this one here: <3

That's a witch amirite. Because it's part of Halloween season and if your brain makes the emoticon go upright then it's a witch's hat on top of a big pair of breasts?

In Korea we call them "Golden Winnebagos".

Oct-09-17  Alien Math: while less than 3 traditionally uses the heart emoticon as a substitute, i think a witches hat with breasts works just as well since it's the season or something

It certainly is the season!

I'm already horrified. Because I just watched England play like a bunch of sick nuns against Lithuania.

<Hanh> I just ordered all of your recommendations except for <The Experiment> which I couldn't find on the internets yet.

A quick glance on your imdb links and they do look promising- anything over a 5.0 score on imdb for a horror film is usually worth a watch.

Oh <hanh> also you might like the TV show <Channel Zero> Season Two because it's quite spooky and aboot a haunted house. Anyways I watched the first 3 episodes so far and they skeered me bad.

Oct-09-17  Alien Math: the <Channel Zero> looks promising, going to put that on my to watch list,

since <The Experiment> just came out pretty recently i'm not sure where you could find it online, unless you have an active search query set to find when it arrives onto the internet

<hanh> well I just watched DON'T HANG UP and it had a decent idea and it was pretty well made- but more a thriller than a horror when all was said and done. I did enjoy it because I'm something of a student of douchebaggery and there was no shortage of douchebags in this one.

My favorite douchebags are the New Jersey ones though.

Oct-09-17  Alien Math: they might not be top of the line money movies but they do well enough for their genre i think, worth watching

<hanh> that's just about exactly right. You make a good horror movie critic can you dig it brah.

Oct-09-17  Travis Bickle: Hey Jess, thx for the Fleetwood Mac excellantay tune..

P.S. Did you know that much later in her career Stevie Nicks had a bad cocaine problem.. Here nasal passages were so irritated from blow, she used to have members of the band blow the white powder up her bum.. That's the truth... ; P

Oct-09-17  Travis Bickle: Yeah Jess, somebody had to give Stevie Nicks a blow job with a straw.. LOL!
Oct-10-17  Travis Bickle: Refugee is an excellent tune!
Oct-10-17  Travis Bickle: Jess, that's a great video by Petty with Alice in Wonderland angle & a great song too! I like when they starting eating cake.. lol

Well eating the cake is stunning for a mainstream video because it's actually cannabalism. Tom Petty was always ahead of his time with this edgy videos.
