Sep-01-11  ProjectR: Hi jess,

Hope your well, haven't heard from you for a few days ??

Well i got properly registered at FICS(after two years !) Played two games,a standard 20 minute and a 3 min blitz, won them both but they were only against 1500 to 1600 rated players,so my rating now stands at a massive 1718 !! Well its okay i suppose, but im aiming for 2000 this weekend, then il just take it from there if i achieve it,but iv been beating 1900's on a regular basis as a guest so il see how it goes. Do you fancy a game when you can spare the time ? No doubt you'll beat me,but it would be good to play you nonetheless.

GMVA played 7. Bg5! That screws up all my arrangements.

Can you get me off the hook? For old time sake?

Sep-03-11  8284: <JFQ> Thanks for your response on 'YourTube'. It has been much appreciated!

The video <Akiva Rubinstein live film footage> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEcZ... is most likely from the 'International' <Budapest 1926> tournament.

For comparison here is a picture: http://www.rogerpaige.webspace.virg...

Here you can also find the crosstable with the participants, which will make the identification much easier http://www.rogerpaige.webspace.virg...

And you have been right, it's Sandor Takacs and not J. Mieses. :D

I'll leave it up to you and Annie to do the remaining assignments.

Good luck and have a nice day!

LA State Champ.

I won four, drew 3. Three-way tie for first, I won 09 rating points. (Now 2230.)

Played (maybe) won of most brilliant games ... vs. R. Phillips. (I probably will submit this game plus my draw vs. Rouselle.)
