Oh, come on. That is Big Pawn-type stuff> No.
<Big pawn>/<george wallace> and <diceman> and other people of his gang are dishonest , low life idiots. I have always debated with honesty . so did <nisjesram> and so did <rbd> as <rbd> defeated <big pawn>/<george wallace> , <diceman> <gezafan> in debates. Whereas <big pawn>/<george wallace> - <keypusher> was right in saying that <big pawn> is dishonest , willfully misreading posts. And <diceman> - he never debates , never makes any coherent point , he just trolls in a very vile way in rogoff forum (he is particularly obsessed with <saffuna>) as he plays sidekick of <big pawn> like <keyser soze> , <sugardom> , <ohiochessfan> ...they all are pets/wives of <big pawn>. What is worse - <rbd> requested <diceman> not to have bad mannered conversations in <keypusher> forum out of respect for <keypusher> but <diceman> refused to listen and continued to disrespect <keypusher> and his forum. i don't even post in rogoff forum anymore generally speaking because there is not much point anymore - after <rbd> defeated <big pawn> and his pets/wives like <diceman> so thoroughly in debates , they have given up and are just trolling in dishonest , vile, abusive ways as <keypusher> rightly points out. And i won't post anywhere on this site anymore , generally speaking... |

I'm curious, do you also <find[] inspiration from the Norwegian reality show Alt for Norge>?> That would be stretching it.
<Alt for Norge> is/was a very popular Norwegian reality television series.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alt_f...
The concept being a bunch of Americans with Norwegian ancestors travelling around Norway exploring Norwegian history, nature, language and culture. Not just the postcard version, but also pop culture and contemporary idiosyncrasies. It was very sweet and actually quite funny from a Norwegian's perspective. The contestants also compete in tasks to prove their knowledge and skills in a lighthearted manner in hope of winning a chance to meet their Norwegian family and a cash prize. It's a reality show without the backstabbing and meanness. It has run for some 11 seasons, but has been put on hiatus because of the Corona thingy. |

My stand is pretty clear ....as in this post of mine in rogiffland today : <mort> - you are dushonest like <george wallace>/<big pawn> and <bp> is very abusive , vile and much more... 2) <ybr> had given you offer "choose honesty , <mort> , and i will support you in all the 'complaints' you have against libs " You declined
3) now , shut the hell up about criticizing <perfidious>. <Bp> deserves all the insults he receiving and this could as well be therapy for <bp> . Everyone knows <bp> is mentally 'ill' and everyone sends prayers and wishes to <bp> including <perfidious> , i think , and in addition , <perfidious> providing therapy to <bp> too. So , <perfidious> deserves a lot of credit/gratitude. 4) i hope <perfidious> and others are watching my stand. When <diademas> had criticized <perfidious> about his posts addressed to <bp> , then also i had given <diademas> piece of my mind. <Diadamas> and <midget chair clown moronovich> should know better than to be low life idiots like <mort> and <bp> |

| Jun-27-21 | | rbd: Does america need immigration , <keypusher>? <China once enforced a single child policy, later allowed two children, and now encourages three. Its working age population is falling so it desperately needs more workers to boost GDP. For a stable population, the total fertility rate ? children born per woman ? should be 2.1. This will not immediately stop population growth: future mothers have already been born. So, population typically rises for two decades after reaching 2.1 and then flattens....
The rate is lowest in Taiwan (1.07), South Korea 1.09) and Singapore (1.15). It is well below replacement level in rich countries ? Japan (1.38), Germany (1.48), the US (1.84) and UK (1.86). Rates are still above 3 in many African countries. But in Mexico, a traditional migrant supplier, fertility is down to 2.14. The long US tradition of immigration ? despite Trump ? has so far prevented population from falling as in Germany, Russia or Japan. Yet the latest data shows that the US population grew only 0.35% in 2019-20, almost the slowest ever. India?s fertility rate has fallen from 3.4 children in 1992-93 to 2.2 today, and is projected to fall to 1.93 by 2025. This is not because of penalties like bans on standing for elections. It is because an aspirational middle class wants fewer children. Far from having excess population, India is heading for the global trap of insufficient fertility rates, insufficient people of working age, and a huge excess of aged people needing costly medical care

| Jun-27-21 | | rbd: The thing is that <al wazir > is a village idiot - not as much of a village idiot as <diceman> because unlike <diceman> , many a times <al wazir> talks coherently. So , village idiot <al wazir> missed the point of <keypusher> completely <Keypusher> <anti-racism doing more harm than racism > Point of <keypusher> is that : <in america , hate crime exists and in america racism exists too. Hate crime in america is negligible , everyone except far right idiots like <gezafan> knows that. Similarly , in america , racism is not at all severe anymore . Racist fools like <big pawn>/<george wallace> exist but they are a very tiny minority.Far left crazies on the other hand have lost their mind completely and they have influence in america/canada - look at the cartoon that brother in law of <johnlspouge> sent. The satire is <thank god , far left crazies did not have such influence when you were an adolscent/teen <jls> , otherwise, instead of prodigy , you would be considered a problem child>> Now , it would make sense if <al wazir> asked <keypusher> numbers/data for substantiating his assertion - but village idiot <al wazir> did not even understand the point of <keypusher>. One one hand we have far right crazies like <bp> , <diceman> , <ocf> , qanon and then we have far left loonies on the other hand - and then we have village idiots like <al wazir> who need a new name/label 2) so do you have numbers/data to substantiate/corroborate your point , <keypusher> ? Any elaboration of your point ? Thanks. |

Is racism in america negligible ? Tell the true reality to international community - it is confusing to international community. <South Carolina Republican Sen. Tim Scott shocked many people when, in response to President Joe Biden?s congressional address, he stated that ?America is not a racist country.? He admitted that he himself had experienced ?the pain of discrimination,? and noted, ?I know what it feels like to be pulled over for no reason, to be followed around a store while I?m shopping.? When asked on ABC?s Good Morning America the following day, Vice President Kamala Harris seemed to agree with Scott when she said, ?I don?t think America is a racist country.? ....

My american friend :
Trump made appeals to factionalism and division in the US. He was clever enough to dogwhistle, doing things like holding rallies on the anniversaries of events in Black history. [ https://www.usatoday.com/story/mone... ] Given that Trump still has a lot of popularity, I would be cautious in any conclusion that racist idiots are a very, very tiny minority. |

Given that Trump still has a lot of popularity, I would be cautious in any conclusion that racist idiots are a very, very tiny minority." Me : so let us reconcile this with what i said : as an asian , in 7 years that i lived in america/canada , i never experienced racism personally. That does not necessarily mean that racist idiots in america/canada are a very, very , very tiny minority. All it means is that most racists idiots are not vocal/transparent racists in real life (as opposed to how they are on?cg.com). You find out only when you get involved a little more deeply with people/situations. Correct ?
My american friend : correct. |

Me :
So , then what do you make of the assertion of joe biden and kamala harris that america is not racist <South Carolina Republican Sen. Biden appeared to walk back his remarks on The Today Show to align more with Harris and Scott> https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.br... . My american friend : Yes, the US is a racist country. Racism is no longer enshrined in law, but if you were black, you would not need to encounter too many <Big Pawn>s before you became resentful, because of reduced opportunities for employment, etc. The support for ex-President Trump makes it clear that racists form a significant voting bloc. |
|
| Jul-08-21 | | rbd: Part 4
Me : Anti racism does more harm than racism . True or false ? My american friend : Anti-racism, or any judgement of people solely by group, is harmful, although I disagree that it is more harmful than racism. After all, anti-racism is unnecessary without racism. Equal opportunity should be enforced in a race-blind way, economically, through means testing. If the intent is to redress past wrongs like slavery, acknowledge them, and if necessary, pay specifically for them, and get it over with. Nowadays, genetics provides an equitable means of recompense. People could invest in their own genetic testing if they were sufficiently confident of redress for wrongs done to an enslaved ancestor. |

| Jul-08-21 | | rbd: <keypusher: <My american friend said : "Trump made appeals to factionalism and division in the US. He was clever enough to dogwhistle, doing things like holding rallies on the anniversaries of events in Black history.>
With few exceptions, when leftists talk about "dog whistles" they are quite literally talking about sounds only they can hear. Juneteenth was obscure until recently, and Trump was no doubt surprised to find out that he was trampling on anyone's sensibilities by scheduling a rally on a Friday in late June. The Tulsa race riot has also been powerfully amplified by the left lately. Someone on my side should really be pushing for Reginald Denny Day (look him up!). White people don't think about Juneteenth or the Tulsa riot unless they are forced to -- I can promise that right-wing cockles were not warmed by the time or place of Trump's rally. Trump had actually pushed making Juneteenth a holiday to improve his appeal among black voters, but I doubt his curiosity extended so far as to commit Juneteenth's actual date to memory. I think one of the left's projects is to constantly increase the number of days and places devoted to one woke cause or other so that there is always cause for calendar-or map-based outrage ("DeSantis signed anti-trans legislation on the first day of Pride!!!").> Your counterpoint noted , <keypusher> So , should i conclude that you completely agree with my american friend except that you would chooses a better example than juneteenth ? |
