WannaBe: In case I forgot, congrats to them Lady Bruins. =)) U. Mich (69-63) won, but the last spread I saw was -6.5, so if you took UConn w/ spread, you got very lucky, if you bet on them U. Mich, I feel bad; the O/U was 148.5

WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

Nov-29-15  Shams: Both defenses need some work but wow what a game.
Nov-29-15  Jim Bartle: I don't see how anybody can play cornerback in the NFL. You have to watch every move a receiver makes left, right and in front of you, plus be sure these incredibly speedy guy doesn't get three feet behind you.

  WannaBe: Touchdoooooooooooown Raiders!! =)
Dec-06-15  Jim Bartle: Damn. Stanford will play Iowa, not Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. I would have liked to see a test against OSU, plus there would have been lots of replays of the 1971 Jim Plunkett 4th quarter smashing of the Buckeyes.
Dec-06-15  Jim Bartle: Here's a legitimate first: Saints block extra point and score 2-point runback score, first ever.

WannaBe: This is good, you're a drunk, you were drunk in team meeting, on the side lines, on the plane returning from a game; and you got fired.

Then you file a wrongful-termination lawsuit. That's good. Can't wait to see which school will hire you next.

Dec-07-15  Jim Bartle: Sarkisian has no case. Football coaches are fired all the time, for less reason. Did he tell USC about this "disability" when he was hired? I doubt it.

I think he's just looking for a modest settlement and this is the threat.

If you're in charge of a major football team like USC you need to be disciplined. It's more than a full-time job with tremendous pressures.

Dec-07-15  Jim Bartle: Funny how USC had two excellent coaches, McKay and Robinson, over 20 years, then hit a big dry spell, a resurgence with Pete Carroll, then disaster since then.

I always had the idea that the USC coach was one of the best anywhere, then they faded with Smith and Tollner for a number of years. Another one of the not-so-successful coaches, Paul Hackett, was the quarterback of my high school team when I was a freshman.
