sneaky pete: <chesswonders> is right, this is game 15, Alekhine is white. My source says drawn after 45.Rd1 .. (so 45... Qf3 wasn't played).

Honza Cervenka: Very modern looking game. Black (i.e. Bogo) sacced a Pawn in opening and got for that better development and coordination of pieces as well as long-term pressure on White's weaknesses including Pd4. Finally Alekhine found a way to equalize the play by returning of material. Unfortunately for black, he cannot try to continue to play for win in final position due to opened and weakened position of his own King.
Mar-05-08  Knight13: Black had to say goodbye to that pawn on d5 too early in the adventure, didn't he?
Apr-06-09  WhiteRook48: that doesn't make sense
Aug-04-09  WhiteRook48: this is why Alekhine didn't want to play Capa again... because Bogo was the easier deal
