Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-27-05  e4Newman: looks like a pretty tense position, just waiting to open up
Sep-27-05  paul dorion: Gligo drew 13 games and won 2 (against the two tail-enders) and managed a tie for 5-6th place with Najdorf in a very strong tournament (Karpov , Korchnoi , Byrne,Mecking etc). He was the only undefeated player.
Feb-26-08  GibGezr: Looking at this quickly, I thought black had nice pressure...but then I saw BxNc6, which seems to even things up nicely by giving black isolated doubled pawns.

I wonder if even e6! works here; with Nh4 to follow eventually and allow f5 to be played, the postion looks very unclear to me after that. Maybe it was pondering the sharp complications of e6 that convinced the GMs to agree to a short draw?
