Jan-19-04  ughaibu: Another weird one in this opening of Kholmov's with Petrosian getting mated.
May-17-04  Resignation Trap: It looks like a typical time scramble in the final stages of this game, how else to explain the mate-in-one ? White's position may be hopeless anyway after 38. Kf1 Qxg4 39. Kg1 Qh4 40.Kf1 Qh1+ 41. Ke2 Qxg2. Zeitnots would be over, and Black would have all night to work out a winning plan during the adjournment.
May-18-04  TrueFiendish: It seems that Petrosian's plan of saccing a pawn with 19.e5 went nowhere.
Apr-04-16  ughaibu: Big pawns of opposite colours.

Honza Cervenka: 37.hxg4? was a grave mistake. 37.Re3 is necessary. Next blunder just shortened white's misery. 30.g3 would have been better than 30.Bxa6?!
