Dec-06-12  Cemoblanca: I think it should be over soon after 52...e4! Too many threats for "Tricky Micky"! The check on a6 will not help him!

Fusilli: <Ulhumbrus> I think Carlsen can go for it. In the end, there would be a queen on each side and just the h-pawn, which might be enough to win. But he can probably decline and have a safer win that way.
Dec-06-12  OneArmedScissor: I told you guys Adams was going down.
Everyone was saying Adams was winning. lmao
Dec-06-12  Marmot PFL: Short very critical of Adams, says he went from much better to lost in just a few moves.
Dec-06-12  Cemoblanca: What says my big bro Houdini & Co! Can someone checkout please!

OhioChessFan: So....52...Qxc4 53. bxc4.....hmmmmm. Black pushes the e Pawn. He wants to get to the east side of the e Pawn since the King must capture g4. He has to be a tempo ahead of White playing Kxc5 and pushing the b Pawn. Got to concentrate to count tempos.

Yep, I said the same thing.

I'm just waiting to see the <DANCING CARLSEN ROOK>.

perfidious: This will soon be 0-1, as Kxe3 loses to ....Ke5.
Dec-06-12  beenthere240: I think it's over. 0-1

  chancho: It's over.

Adams resigned.

Dec-06-12  Ulhumbrus: <Marmot PFL: Short very critical of Adams, says he went from much better to lost in just a few moves.> Which two mistakes does Short consider the worst?
Dec-06-12  Wyatt Gwyon: The only thing I don't understand is why Capablanca would want to come back as a Norwegian. (Nothing against Norwegians....)
Dec-06-12  notyetagm: It's over, Adams resigned after 63 ... ♔h5-g4 0-1.
Dec-06-12  Cemoblanca: Nice game by Carlsen! It's over & I'm outta now! Thanks for broadcasting CG! :)

OhioChessFan: I have to fault 50. Qc3 greatly. There was no play left after the Queen exchange. Maybe the fight went out of Mickey.
Dec-06-12  notyetagm: And there's the dancing rook!

OhioChessFan: I fought the temptation to open my Fritz today. It was a lot more fun having to search for moves than just glancing at the evals.
Dec-06-12  Ulhumbrus: On 64 c5 Kh3! 65 c6 b2 66 Kf2 Kh2 67 c7 b1(Q)+ wins

AylerKupp: At d=28 Houdini 1.5a evaluated the position after 56...Kf6 as completely even, [0.00] after 56.Kxe3 Ke5 57.Kd3 Kd5 58.Ke3 Ke5 59.Kd3 etc.. Adams' 57.Kf3?? was an incredible and unexpected blunder, handing the game to Carlsen. What could he have been thinking of?
Dec-06-12  Marmot PFL: <Which two mistakes does Short consider the worst?>

He is discussing that now with Carlsen.

OhioChessFan: The unplayed 55. Kxe3 Ke5 is the kind of endgame position that is my favorite part of chess.
