perfidious: The most curious thing to discover on playing this game through was that it had been seen before, up to White's eighth move (Seibot vs Luetze, 1902), though the finish in the earlier game was humdrum.

<If you want me, come and Haavamae>.

When I have a Time Machine I'll go back in time to a few seconds <before> Semyon Alapin invented King's Pawn Game (C20), the <Alapin Opening>, and I would deliver a kick so powerful and incapacitating to his fragile <gooch> that this opening would never have been invented.
