Shamsiddin gained his FM title when his rating rose above 2300 in June 2015. He won the World U14 Championship 2015 that was held in Halkidiki in November with a score of 9/11, on tiebreak ahead of Andrey Esipenko. He also gained an IM norm for his title win.

Dec-26-18  sonia91: This 16 y.o. IM beat Carlsen with black in round 2 at the World Rapid Championship, currently underway in St Petersburg, Russia, "punishing" the world champion for playing 1.e4 2. 45 2. Qh5.
