Biography: http://correspondencechess.com/marc...

May-11-12  DanielBryant: I attended a tournament in the Quad Cities recently, and saw a clock inside the club that had Lutes's name engraved on the back. I'm curious if he has any ties to that area.
Jan-02-13  thomastonk: Happy Birthday, Mr Lutes!

PS: I like in particular your book on the McCutcheon.

Feb-14-13  parisattack: Anyone know the whereabouts of this gentleman and fine author?

To my mind, he wrote the best BC (Before Computer) opening monographs. IM Schiller would be a close second.

And, yes <thomastonk> his work on the McCutcheon (and O'Kelly) is/are excellent!
