  sachistu: It was a little surprising <Straclonoor> to see the Russian document spell the name 'Rastenis'. I have seen other variations on the name. The Latvian magazine Shakhmaty Riga, 1980, #1 spells it G.Rastyanis in the Daugavpils 1979 cross table, although the Latvian spelling usually appears as Rastjanis. Presumably, this is the same person?
