Benzol: Second result in. Orkney has voted no to leaving.

A question. If Scotland does vote to leave will Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster decide to take up residence in the English Lake district?

:)

WannaBe: Those two locale probably have a combined voting population of 300. =))

Have to wait and see results from bigger cities.

Sep-18-14  zanzibar: FWIW - today it's a historic vote, tomorrow it will have become a historical vote.

Sep-19-14  zanzibar: Condolences, my dear <offramp>. Take heart in the vote of the youth.

The movement's full effects are for the future, and not the present.

Yes. I am certain there will be a more favourable result at the next scheduled vote in 2321 AD.

offramp: SONS OF THE HOUNDS COME HERE AND GET FLESH

First, the apostate Scots fail to free themselves from the yoke of the Sasunnaich in the referendum, THEN they make the damned tories the strongest party in British politics by voting Labour out! What was the point of that?

offramp: A mad world my masters.

Scotland chooses to stay in the UK, like a bunch of nutcases.

Then the UK opts to leave the EU, like a bunch of nutcases.

Sally Simpson: Nothing mad about democracy.

It's what the people voted for. Sounds like they were fed up with Brussels telling them how to run things.

Me. I always exercise my democratic right not to vote. Never have and never will. The secret of a happy life is not to get involved.

Once you start worrying about things...anything...you are on a downward spiral.

So cheer up, have a cup of tea and a cigarette and play over at random any game from Tartakowers and Du Mont's 500 games.

Bliss!

offramp: Eduard Scotland now has a first name, I see.

For a long time the name was simply <Scotland>, hence the off-topic kibitzing.

Dec-13-19  spingo: The Scottish National Party has trounced the field in Scotland.

The result will lead to a second referendum about Scots membership of the UK.

Although I want this to be pro-exit, I have a feeling that the result will once again be to stay in the UK.

I hope not. If Eduard Scotland can circumcise itself from England <it can then rejoin the EU>.

How cool is that?

offramp: I watched Wales (at home) v Scotland. Good match with the final score 26-27.

Who did the cameras pinpoint in the crowd?

You'll never guess...

Willem Dafoe.
