Trice clearly has a contact in Canada, probably a female relative (sister-in-law?), but as far as I can ascertain Lawrence Day is guilty only of extreme gullibility. |

I would think that the hired gun (if there was one) would be relatively obscure and desperate for a buck. IM Day is a very respectable chess figure and not the sort to be involved in such chicanery (although I think he's wrong concerning the boot). |

will be marked "second edition" and none will be available before
February 2008.
