tamar: Format is two simultaneous games versus same opponent. Exciting games, but more proof that multi-tasking causes errors.

Dec-19-13  waustad: It is interesting that Kosteniuk had a Q vs NB ending in both games against Paehtz. She also had about 8 minutes on each clock where her opponent was about to flag on both. http://sportaccord2013.fide.com/ima...

Dionysius1: Strange format, two simultaneous games v same opponent. I tried a new format I'd thought of last night - players sit behind their pieces as usual (black behind the black pieces etc). Then they turn the board round. Now each player has to reach over and move his own pieces and pawns towards him. Normal chess rules apply. Odd to be attacking the castled king nearest to you from far end of board. But reassuring for your passed pawns to be moving down the board towards you. Come to Papa! D
