Or at least that's my unchecked impression. I think those who quit for real tend not to announce it.

  GrahamClayton: US Junior Champion Samuel Shankland (6.5 points) made a GM norm. Keaton Kiewra (6 pts), Daniel Naroditsky (6.5 pts) and Conrad Holt (6.5 pts), all made IM norms. Tatev Abrahamyan also earned a WGM norm.
