 | | Sally Simpson: Hi Miss Scarlett,
Yes it was pretty fruitless regarding chess and Cochrane but I do have two leads to chase up.ATM most of my spare time is being taken up with 200th centenary of the Edinburgh Chess Club though I did take a day out to pop down to Hartlepool to watch Leyton Orient. (0-0). HMS Trincomalee is moored there, one of Nelson's ships. Of course Admiral Cochrane's name popped up. Seems everywhere I go a Cochrane appears....mocking me. Next step is Maggie the Mystic who drinks in my local. She is a Medium and Clairvoyant. I'll pay her to contact John. (Whilst there is there anybody you or the rest of BIO team want answers from?) |

 | | Sally Simpson: That is Archibald Campbell Tait (1811-82).
The first Scottish Archbishop of Canterbury.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archi... I have just decided from now on any Bishop that has been fianchettoed shall henceforth be known as an Archbishop. (the pawn phalanx one associates with a fianchetto is the Cathedral.) |

 | | MissScarlett: <E E Middleton> was 35 going on 55. No wonder there's a doubt as to whether his father was playing instead. |
