Oct-26-03  Shadout Mapes: Here's an impressive game by Nez. 19.f5! 20.f6! 22.Nxf7! in the final position 40...Rf8 is met by 41.Re6#
Oct-26-03  drukenknight: does 26....Bb5 help?
Oct-27-03  Shadout Mapes: 26...Bb5 27.Rxf6 Bxd7 (27..Nxf6 28.Rg7#) 28.Rf8#

but it's really late so correct me if i'm wrong.

Oct-27-03  drukenknight: obviously that was a malfunction...
Oct-27-03  drukenknight: TYPO ALERT*** TYPO ALERT****

GrahamClayton: Nezhmetdinov offered Tal a draw after the 16th move. Tal made a movement with his lips, and Nezhmetdinov, whose hearing was not that good, assumed that Tal had accepted his offer. He then started to move the pieces on the board to show why he had offered a draw.

The one problem was that Tal had not agreed to a draw! The pieces were hurriedly returned to their correct position and the game continued.

Jan-31-11  Whitehat1963: Another amazing game from Super Nez! Delivers a savage tactical beating to the master of tactics.
Dec-15-11  fokers13: And that's how legends are created...
Until the losing blunder 25..Bf6?? black is better Tal should have played h5 instead. (the Bb5-c6-d7 maneuver also seems interesting).
Dec-02-14  Ulhumbrus: 18...g6 appears to doubly prevent 19 f5 whereupon Nezhmetdinov plays 19 f5 all the same

Alex Schindler: Just made par, exactly. Certainly one of the most unexpected f7 knight sacs I've seen in Guess-The-Move...

I'm intentionally going through super nezh games in guess-the-move, because his tactics are the most unguessable. This might be the first time I've been able to more-or-less keep up as he goes in for the kill!

Dec-15-15  thegoodanarchist: To beat Tal in 1959 was like beating Fischer in 1971. Just a ridiculously immense achievement.
Feb-09-20  anjumskhan: So, we can assume to beat great players you have to attack them and those attacks should come from nowhere to surprise them.
Feb-09-20  ewan14: Korchnoi , usually beat Tal ( whatever the year )
Feb-09-20  ewan14: Brilliant play by '' Super Nez ''
