Honza Cervenka: Exchange of Rooks for Queen looks pretty hopeless for white.
Jul-28-06  Ulhumbrus: 28 Rxc4 Rxc4 29 Qd7 forks the B b7 and the point d8

  TheAlchemist: <Atking> Then Rf5+ and Rxf6
Jul-28-06  independentthinker: I think it's over. If I was magnus I would resign now. This will end painfully.
Jul-28-06  zerathul: if Qh6 Rf5+ wins the f6 pawn
Jul-28-06  crwynn: Why is it people always post comp evals when the position is about even and "analysis by Rybka ....-0.43" means nothing at all, and never in positions like this?

Well, anyway Rcxc4 seems to force the Q-for-2-R's exchange, whether it's good or not - meeting it with ...Qe6 appears to lose in light of exchanging on e8 and c8, then f7 and Bh6

OhioChessFan: I was looking at Qh6. Loses immediately.
Jul-28-06  Confuse: ya i noticed and deleted my post. sorry about that! : P
Jul-28-06  Offield: If Qh6? after exchanging on c4 white gets mated first by rooks and bishop.
Jul-28-06  gamvincent2004: black wins this one!
Jul-28-06  Ulhumbrus: Now 29 Qd7 forks the Bishop and the point d8.
Jul-28-06  1R4N: is volokitin going to win?
Jul-28-06  babakova: If he wants to play something he might as well go with g4...His bishop will go but who cares.

Honza Cervenka: Those 2R and light-squared B against white King in open space.... I think that I would have won it without troubles. And Volokitin is certainly better than I am...:-)

Mateo: Another nice point for Black is that 29.Qd7 does not work after 29...Rc2 and 30...Bc6.
Jul-28-06  1R4N: i think volokitim will win!
Jul-28-06  crwynn: What about 29.Qh6 Rf5+ 30.Ke2 Rxf6 31.Kd3 to threaten 32.Bd4?
Jul-28-06  pebble767: It seems like Carlsen will be Volokitin's first victim
Jul-28-06  Runemaster: It looks like it's Volokowin and Snarlsen this time.
Jul-28-06  1R4N: volokitin
Jul-28-06  zerathul: the only hopes for carlsen is that Volokitin blunder away a win just like he did with radja
Jul-28-06  Atking: <TheAlchemist: <Atking> Then Rf5+ and Rxf6> and <Mateo> Yes
Jul-28-06  Petrosian63: Nice win by Andrei Volokitin. 2 wins in 2 years in Biel.
Jul-28-06  makaveli52: how about 29. g4?
