Carlsen really did blunder, so he's mortal after all.

Oct-23-10		kapivarov: Because he's something limited, aside his own merits and talent, he received the best sponsorship and training of all time, trained and developed his enormous potencial very early, i.e., he was(is) a prodigy himself with a great staff and good conditions. But he reached his peak precocely. I assure you he won't make much progress from now on. Others, who didn't have the same opportunities, have much to improve yet. In a matter of time, some other young talents will appear with great performances too. Perhaps not as Magnus, his performance at his age is unique, but I DOUBT MC can't avoid some king of stagnation. I bet the difficult he had today against Gashimov will be the same in the next years. In a perhaps grotesque comparation, I know, it's only to exemplify: Bronstein or Andrei Sokolov, they showed all their potencial very soon and after their peaks, they never reached the top again. A natural talented GM would never blunder this ridiculous way as Carlsen did.

Rxh5 Kxf3 but maybe rushing he mixed up the order. When Carlsen has some initiative, seems he can occasionaly get overly optimistic. Where he notices possible opponent's threats or tactical tricks but loses track and/or slightly miscalculates. Though rare and pretty much only in blitz with time an issue. In this 2010 game with Gelfand on the youtube video it appears Carlsen looks over at the rook and senses the danger but... Carlsen vs Gelfand, 2010 And in this 2019 game with Abdusattorov, seemed Carlsen always felt his hanging pawns needed care but playing a little too loose created a big disappointment caught on video.
