ajk68: 10. Nc3 (retreating the knight) in a King's Gambit even feels wrong.

If you're going to play 2. f4, you better be all-in.

HeMateMe: A very timely pun! NN claims the game was 'fake news.'

Teyss: Another loaded pun. MissScarlett is a pun star.

20.Qxb7 was a boner, White thought he could storm Black's Qside instead of playing safe: should have tried c X d3 even though it's still a hard game.

Nice Monday Queen sac puzzle 21...? And 20...? would be mid-week because you have to find the final blow Qe5.

Really sick and tired of you ruining chess games with all matters anti-chess.

That was ALL caps, but that has been manipulated too.

  Teyss: <GrahamClayton> Well spotted ;)

I avoided political double entendre like "Black trumped White" or "Daniels' action paid off" or "White couldn't Duck the attack" to prevent grouching. To no avail.

Notes to those who don't like the pun: relax, breathe, enjoy the spring flowers. It's not offensive like in E L Dayton vs F Ouchi, 1952 : it's funny, timely and it fits the game. Can't believe Missy thought about it.

Teyss: Hey, this page has shrunk. Hey, some posts were deleted. Hey, these posts concern the abundance of advertising on the site.

@CG: what did you do here? Either you stop this site looking like a Christmas tree, either you allow users to complain about it. TBH sometimes it also bugs me since I don't always log in.

There were also other posts which could have led to arguments, but it wasn't much compared to other pages. You really need to be more specific about posting and deletion rules, else it becomes arbitrary.

I'll keep a copy of this on my page in case you also delete it. I doubt you'll delete it there (although...).

They are censoring a huge number of kibitzes, including mine, posted here earlier. It wasn't even offtopic.

Apr-06-23  stone free or die: Funny, <Missy> tracking an individual <CG> member, and publicizing it on an open forum.

Isn't s/he the same "guy" who takes umbridge at wordpress.com's tracking of users by nation?!

* * * * *

<lentil> - if you'd rather not provide <Missy>, or anyone else, with ammunition on your <CG> usage - then go to your preferences page and turn on this option:

<Don't show me on the homepage 'recent visitors'>

Then you won't be tracked for recent appearances on <CG>'s front-page, or "Last seen"' on your Profile page.

You'll be incognito to us ordinary users thereafter, unless you make a post of course.

Apr-06-23  stone free or die: (And umbridge is a deliberate allusion to Ms. Umbridge...)
