Jun-04-06  BadTemper: CHARBONNEAU BEAT ANAND Round 12 Chess Olympiad. Where can i get the pgn for the game?
Jun-04-06  Milo: http://www1.chessolympiad-torino200...

Go to the above site and find the round where india plays Canada, then click on the thing on the left and you can see the games.

Really, this must be the achievement of a lifetime for Charbonneau. (Although Anand's play was supposedly quite poor.)

Jun-04-06  THE pawn: OMG Charbonneau won against Anand! WOW, this has to be the best game of his life!
Jun-04-06  PhilFeeley: The game: P Charbonneau vs Anand, 2006. Commentators have said Charbonneau didn't win so much as Anand lost, but who cares? You have to be a pretty good defender to withstand an Anand attack!
Jun-10-06  PhilFeeley: Pascal and Irina Krush are playing in a simul today at UBC. 9am is Krush, 2pm is Charbonneau and 7pm is a paris exhibition match, the sort of thing that seems to be a specialty out here on the west coast.

Jul-08-06  NOKRO: This is one game that Pascal will never forget. His understanding of strategy and tactical maneuvers is awesome.
Jul-08-06  e4Newman: re: UBC simul

sigh! I wish I still lived on the west coast...hot ashes for trees

And a bit of good humour -
<Profanity and physical violence is not allowed except under extreme circumstances>

Nov-30-06  Dr.Lecter: Pascal plays the first board for New York Knights in US chess league. Too bad Knights lost to San Francisco Mechanics.
Feb-01-07  TheWhiteRider: As a French Canadian myself I am proud of his girl friend Krush over Akobian and now Kornchoi at the Gibraltar tournament. (Bravo, je vous souhait le meilleur.)
May-06-08  brankat: Happy Birthday Pascal!
Mar-02-09  PhilFeeley: Does anybody know what Charbonneau is up to these days? Is he working in economics? His chess blog hasn't been updated since 2006.
Apr-07-09  Dredge Rivers: <PhilFeeley>

Yeah! Whatever happened to Mr. Krush? :)

Apr-11-09  PhilFeeley: Now Pascal's blog no longer exists. He's playing in this year's Foxwoods Open. He was probably concentrating on his studies before now.

As for "Mr. Krush", I was discussing this with Frederic Friedel (of Chessbase) and he said they were not married, despite the reference I have to it in Paul Hoffman's book "King's Gambit" (p. 418). Mr. Friedel did not explain.

Apr-12-09  Dredge Rivers: <PhilFeeley> <he said they were not married>

So, Irina Krush is still available? SWEEEEEET! :)

You mean, Quagmire was wrong? SOB!

But hey, at least Eliza Dushku is still on the market! :)

May-06-09  gauer: Happy birthday, GM Charbonneau.
May-06-09  wordfunph: I couldn't forget the upset victory of GM Charbonneau over Vishy in Olympiad, Happy Birthday GM Pascal Charbonneau!
May-06-09  TheChessGuy: Bon anniversaire, M. Charbonneau!!
May-06-09  jackpawn: So is he married to Krush or not?
May-23-09  supertimchan: The blog listed is no longer valid. Please remove it.
Jul-20-09  Dredge Rivers: Any relation to Joe?
