perfidious: We played once, at Tanglewood Open in 1979. Remember the old Searles Castle in Great Barrington, Massachusetts? Quite a place to play!
Sep-15-10  grasser: <perfidious> Stanley? I just very vaguely recall. Very little.
Sep-15-10  play2win: Hi - we share a last name, and I have roots in Germany. I also love chess :) I wonder if we are related in any way.
Sep-16-10  grasser: <play2win> My father was born in Aschaffenburg in 1908. His name was also George. His father was named Pankratz.
Apr-02-12  Grandpa jo: Georges Grasser is my facebook friend.
He seems to me to be a very kind and respectful person. I hope he get perfect health and hope to see some of his games.
Apr-23-15  zanzibar: Yes, he seems much nicer in his vidoes than on his icon.

Some of the info in this forum should be migrated up to the bio to fatten it up.

Not me, though another opponent in the '79 event was, I believe, Stanley Targonski, brother-in-law of Louis A Mercuri.

Apr-23-15  zanzibar: Funny, a 5-year old exchange, taken up again without missing a beat!
