Nov-13-14  ljfyffe: Won the Yugoslavian correspondence chess championship in 1976-77;1980-81;1986-87;1993-1995.
Mar-21-21  cro777: FIDE Master and Correspondence International Master Ibrahim Kapić https://sah.hr/forum/index.php?acti... was a strong correspondence chess player. As <ljfyffe> pointed out Kapić was multiple champion of former Yugoslavia in correspondence chess. His best result in international correspondence chess was the fifth place in the 5th World correspondence chess championship semifinal.

Kapić was born 1933 in Vrnjačka Banja (Serbia) where he started to play correspondence chess. He later moved to Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

He is considered to be one of the chess players who left an indelible trace in chess of Banja Luka. Kapić is also co-author of the book ”Banjalučki Šahovski Vremeplov 1926-1961” (Chess Time Machine of Banja Luka 1926-1921), Banja Luka, 2006.
