  offramp: I think he became an International Master at the age of 59 at the Reykjavik Open (2017).

It is a great achievement and if he reads this I am very happy for him.

  GrahamClayton: Pigott now holds the record for the oldest British player to become an IM - the previous record was 58, held by Jeff Horner.
