Jun-19-05  Benzol: Having just done the bio on this guy and when looking him up on the FIDE site I found that there are two Milorad Knezevic's. This one was born in 1936 but is he any relative (father perhaps) to the one born in 1954? See http://www.fide.com/ratings/card.ph...
Oct-31-07  lentil: I think Benzol has a point: the ratings card he points to is definitely not this guy, so the current rating is not applicable.
Oct-31-07  whiteshark: player of the day.

According to the Polish wiki-page he died 31.March 2005 in Belgrad: http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milora...

Oct-31-13  Eastfrisian: But I can't find anywhere a foto of him, although he died only a few years ago.

Sorry, no success. Btw, FIDE has three different <Milorad Knezevic> http://ratings.fide.com/search.phtm...

FSR: At this writing in late 2023, FIDE lists:

Milorad V. Knezevic of Serbia, 1949-present, no standard rating, rapid 2081, blitz 1915 https://ratings.fide.com/profile/95...

Milorad Knezevic of Serbia, 1955-present, no ratings, https://ratings.fide.com/profile/92...

Apr-03-24  vonKrolock: He and Ljubomir Ljubojevic were visiting Fortaleza during the Brazilian Championship (1979) (I'm recalling they watching closely the games in progress - at least until the 6th round). In the intervals Knez showed us a few Studies: he was really a connoisseur and enthusiast.
