GM Tournament in Munich from 25.02. - 15.03.1979

Spassky, Andersson, Balschow and Hübner shared 1-4th place with 8.5/15 points.

Karpow, who left the tournament after 5 rounds as his father died, won against Dankert, too.

  whiteshark: This year there'll be the 9th Peter Dankert Memorial tournament in Hamburg.

The tournament page says he died in 2004 out of the blue.
