Kibitzer's Corner
May-15-13  Nightsurfer: <Stefan Loeffler> is a well-known chess journalist. And not enough with that: <Stefan Loeffler> is the advocate of a very interesting defense against the <Trompowsky Attack>, namely - after <2.Bg5 d5> - the surprising counter <3. ... gxf6?!?!> after <3.Bxf6 ...> plus, after <4.e3 ...>, the very interesting continuation <4. ... Rg8?!?!?!>, please see the diagram as follows:

<Stefan Loeffler> has published an article about that topic in the magazine <SCHACHWELT> (that had been founded and edited by Joerg Hickl but that does not exist anymore), and, after having read that very piece about that very funny plan, I have tried out <Stefan Loeffler>'s defense against the <Trompowsky Attack>, please check out the game L Parnitzke vs R Gralla, 2013, and that plan has worked out very well.

A most sincere <"Gruess Gott"> to Vienna, and thank you very much, Mr. <Stefan Loeffler>!
