alexmagnus: Hehe, like those jokes. In Czech, r and l are "vowelized" (though not true vowels)so that entire sentences without a vowel can emerge (the most famous of them, "strc prst skrz krk", is probably known to everyone who just began studying Czech. The longest sentence of this type German Wikipedia provides is "Chrt pln skvrn vtrhl skrz trs chrp v ctvrt Krc", but my English is too bad to translate it (from German, that is, I don't speak Czech)).
Oct-30-09  SamAtoms1980: I bet many a fellow has been frustrated playing Wheel of Fortune in Czechoslovakia, buying vowels to no avail :-P
Jan-11-10  Raisin Death Ray: I'd like to buy a vowel!
