Jul-27-11  oscarwilde: Hi! The first game attributed to Ajrapetjan was played in 1981 according to the list of games. As he, the grandmaster, was born in 1988, something is wrong here...

Domdaniel: <oscar> True, though he wouldn't be the first grandmaster to display such unusual pre-natal ability.

Preconception, too.

Ajrapetjan played a nice Exchange sac against Moiseenko in 2009 at a Ukrainian team event, then took a draw in a winning position. Interesting game, not currently in the CG database - a 25-move Bogo-Indian.

Stonehenge: According to NicBase black was Abel S Airapetian.

Domdaniel: <henge> That makes sense. Must have been before the Armenjan spelling reform.
