May-06-10  dunkenchess: <Appaz: <BobCrisp>, <dunkenchess> and <wordfunph> Now you are just acting silly, even racist in the case of <dunkenchess> (but we are getting used to that from certain Philipinos in here).>

Me a racist! Oh boy, we are laughing here. This is history in the making in chessgames.com. I have the distinction of being the first colored person called a racist by a white man.

Yeah! I like that! I like your style. Keep on making some history.

I'll print this and tell my history students.

hehehe....

Eric Schiller: <wordfun> It is all nonsense. Fiction. I have never made any such demands. Sometimes I have been given some conditions, but I never asked for them.

It is just some termite trying to start rumors. Move on, there is nothing to see here.

Though I never won a national title (well, Pan-American championship at University of Chicago), I have won state titles in California, Illinois and Hawaii.

My chess is documented in my games. All else is irrelevant.

May-06-10  TheFocus: <ES> stated his position on Campos. Try to respect that. No one says he HAS to forgive Campos, and so he should not.

Obviously some of you may be fans of Campos. I am not and have lost no sleep over his death.

All I can say about that is, Campos, Rest In Pieces.

May-06-10  Hiarcs: <TheFocus>:<All I can say about that is, Campos, Rest In Pieces.> I could have said so too, and i do.

HeMateMe: < I was in fact under observation from the age of 11 when I subscribed to Russian newspapers>

I'm just glad our tax dollars were hard at work protecting us from the american readers of Shakhmaty Bulletin and 64.

May-07-10  wordfunph: <Eric Schiller> thanks for your reply..

how are you feeling now? do you still have that feeling of merriment on the death of ex-FIDE President Florencio Campomanes? hope your conscience bothers you <Eric>..

May-07-10  TheFocus: <wordfunph> Why don't you go and pull the wings of some flies. Quit being a jerk. <ES> has his opinion and you have yours.
May-07-10  wordfunph: <TheFocus> are you the legal aide of <ES>? why don't you mind your own business jerk? how much is your service?

go get someone to talk to..

May-07-10  TheFocus: <wordfunph> Everything in CG is MY business.

Your harassing of <ES> is just dumb and is just making you look bad.

I'm fine, everything is fine.

the sun is shining, about 70° and surf is up.

We were treated to a fine game in the world championship matches morning.

The San Francisco Giants are on a winning streak.

The Raiders finally cut their draft bust.

Campomanes is still dead.

May-07-10  wordfunph: <Eric Schiller> thank you..

<thefocus> here's my fave song for you..

bmulligan: Kasparov decapitated the world championship structure for trivial reasons, depriving the old WCC-structure of its reason for existence.

Kaspatov then rejected reasonable efforts (draw odds for the 40-yr-old defending FIDE champ whom he'd bested in four previous WCCs) to put the old WCC system back together.

Kasparov, nearly as much as Campo, is to blame for the demise of the old WCC structure.

Eric Schiller: Barry Manilow?? How cold!!

Here is my preference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUiu...

I was there for the show.

May-07-10  wordfunph: <bmulligan> that's all history, let's move on..

we always blame someone who failed miserably but we never appreciated when he gets the job done..

Viva Kaspa Campo!

May-07-10  Jim Bartle: "Hell in a Bucket" as the opening song? Hmmmm. Pretty nice, though.

Re "I Write the Songs": In the 70s Martin Mull had a number he called "I Tell the Jokes."

May-07-10  wordfunph: <Eric> i like it here in your page, kibitzers are 50% serious and 50% not-so-friendly harhar! I may stay here for awhile..

enjoy your day guys..

May-07-10  TheFocus: <worfunph) That's your favorite song??? Seriously?

Campos's version:

"I write the rules that broke the WC!

I write the rules so they suit just me!

I also rewrite history!

I 'll take your bribes. Please vote for me!"

May-07-10  oxoginkaput: < Eric Schiller: <WORDFUNPH>... The San Francisco Giants are on a winning streak.
The Raiders finally cut their draft bust.>

Will the San Francisco 49ER's make a run in the NFC West this coming Season?

Good riddance for that Bum JaMarcus Russell, the Raiders wasted 36 Million$$$ for a mediocre, draft bust QB.

May-07-10  wordfunph: <The Focus>

corny...it's awfully corny.

May-07-10  TheFocus: <wordfunph> Admit it, you giggled a little at that.
May-07-10  wordfunph: <The Focus>

yes a bit..you get an A-grade for effort though.

May-07-10  wordfunph: <thefocus>

stop wasting your time on silly things, try something productive for your country. :-)

May-07-10  Jim Bartle: Who's calling Russell "mediocre"?

That's overrating him.

May-07-10  TheFocus: <wordfunph> LOL! At least you're a good sport about it. Salamat po!
