alexmagnus: I wish they had a live broadcast in Bad Wiessee... Hanna is today up against a GM (for the first time in her life?), namely against Yuri Drozdovskij.

alexmagnus: Hanna plays in the European Championship now. Currently 1/4 (losses against GMs Kozul and Shengelia and WGM Zawadzka, win against the 1812-rated Vdovenko). Today's opponent: Jean Pascot (1873)

alexmagnus: Loss against Boric. And quite a bizarre pairing for the next round: IM Gabriel Battaglini (2413). Battaglini lost against two 2100s in the tournament, so despite the Elo difference this may be an open fight :) .

alexmagnus: Tomorrow the German Women's Chess Championship begins. Hanna Marie Klek is among the participants - second seed actually. Though I still wonder what the fomat is... The schedule has 9 rounds, and there are 16 players. A Swiss? Quite a funny choice for this number of players, I must say. Whatever, Klek's first opponent is Orlova (1973).
